Tbh those green phoenix ones are the best so far. I can't really distinguish between the two so either is fine, but they will definitely get my vote for what its worth.

 

Here's my two bits. Not as good as some people's, but I just couldn't decide what all to put.

I loved the green phoenix and that stars background of the last one...

 

lucifer, the dementor doesn't fit very well. You can see an outline where it was cut out...try fading the edges.

 

which one are you talking about? also can you explain a little more?

Hey guys,

Jon provided the CSS, so I created a fairly basic logo preview. I've uploaded Inferis's second green phoenix one up; you can upload your own; please use a meaningful name with the creator's DLP username so we know whose is whose.

One thing that the preview does not yet do is add in the separator image. It could be something I'll add if you guys feel it's absolutely necessary, but otherwise use your imagination.

I *hate* those endlessly moving banners, popups, decorations, pointers, etc. They really distract from the page, itself. I'm not there to read the advertisements, damnit - I want to focus on the stories.
