They aimed it at the wrong group. To me it looks like they planned for a kid's show, but found out they had a much larger fan base, just because the research and background work they put into it made it legitimate. In a kid's show, not much development needed, but I think they started to shift their style a little bit, because I know at some points the development and drama seem almost forced. They need to start fresh with a version specifically for older audiences. That would be interesting. This universe has a lot of potential, far beyond that of a kid's show, at least IMO.

Heh the episode was pretty funny and a good recap. The thing with Jet was hilarious "Did Jet just die?" "I'm not sure it was pretty unclear." At least the writers can make fun of themselves.

 

You tube deletes the new avatar episodes and ban the user who uploads them. You can find the torrent easily by searching on no illegal shit.

Avatar was (and most likely will be) the best attempt by us Americans to make an anime-esque cartoon that kicks ass. So sad that the series is ending though, I mean, as said before numerous times, the potential in the universe is infinite. You could have a stories about the Air Nomad genocide or the Fire Nation doing their whole conquering thing.

Can't wait for the finale tonight, though it is going to be bittersweet.

 

Gay ending imo. Felt rushed, though I knew it would. The way the Fire Lord was defeated was retarded, and come on chains stopped Azula? And where did she go once it was over? It was overall sappy, the peace and love speech was stupid. What can I expect though from a kids show... Good concept bad representation of it.

 

2 hour long chapter packed with action, it did feel a bit rushed. Great bending action though.

My favorite line was "whatt? everyone else went on a life-changing field trip with zuko, now its my turn!"

 

Post-series animated movie. Wait for it.

 

Yeah, that was hilarious.

The bending fights were awesome, especially Zuko and Azula.

The only bad part was how Ozi(not sure how it is spelt) was defeated. I had no idea what was happening when they started shooting lights out of their eyes and mouth. And then when they said he lost his powers, I was thinking 'Why didn't you just kill him', it would be more merciful then leaving him in a tiny little cell for the rest of his life.
