It doesn't look holy enough to be a knights sword, though after small favors I suppose Harry might be carrying it around.

the title suggests we'll finally find out who has been betraying the council so I'd go with a wardens sword.

Maybe Lucia found someone with her old gift, and they could finally make one.

I'd say Warden's sword. Either Luccio manages to regain her old ability, or they found someone new who could.

Just remember the holy grail is supposedly just an ordinary cup. Maybe the swords just look like ordinary swords.

@Dranco: I doubt it is Harry's sword as the only one that he says is his is that cane sword, now granted I don't know much about swords but I kinda doubt that that is a cane sword. I also kind of doubt that it's Amorrachius (sp?) as it doesn't seem like the kind of thing he would carry around. I'm guessing that it's probably Morgan's as he is supposed to be fairly important this next book.

Edit: As I recall they look pretty normal unless you look at the hilt where you can see the spike from the Cross or if they are doing the whole Silver Flame (Tm) thing.

Im going with Morgan's sword. As bad a shape is Morgan is supposedly in I highly doubt he would have much use for it.

I thought the Warden's swords only worked for the person they were made for. Harry wouldn't have any need to carry it around, since it wouldn't work for him. It'd just be an ordinary sword.

But then its no different from his cane sword, or the holy swords. In his hands the holy swords are nothing more than normal swords or else Tessa and the other Denarians would probably have all been annihalated in Small Favor.

What? I didn't understand what you just said. Morgan's sword, if Harry had it, would be no different then normal. The only warden's sword that would work for Harry would be one that was made for Harry.

Harry may not be using the sword for its true purpose, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't bring it with him.

I mean its still technically good for stabbing people, and of course for marshmallows.

Though Michael always hinted that Dresden could take up the holy swords if he wanted to. Given, he could have just been feeling the pressure of being a knight short, and possibly sensing his almost imminent demise; but still, there was always the insinuation that he could...

It could just be that Harry got the urge to bring it along, because he's supposed to pass it on to someone finally.

Maybe a redeemed Morgan himself. We don't know much about him but it could be that he would make a nice fist of God Type knight. Now that he's mellowed some...

I meant the holy swords in regards to the denarians.

Personally I think Harry would be capable of using Michael's sword (Love) but not Shiro's sword (Faith). But it's probably a Warden's sword Morgan's or otherwise. Way too early in the series for Harry to become a Knight of the Cross.

If Michael's sword uses Love and Shiro's uses Faith... What would Sanya's use? The Power of the People? :p

For some reason I always think of Micheal's as Faith. Because that is what makes him him. His undying faith in the Almighty.

IMO they all have to be faithful, loving and hopeful (for redemption) to a certain degree, not just whichever one there sword happens to represent.

Lol, He's Russian, does that make him a communist? or socialist? probably neither.

Anyway, from what little is revealed I'm guessing its Morgan's sword. In Dead Beat he tells us that Morgan's sword is a broadsword, it looks like the sword in the picture. Plus, making Harry a knight would be dumb. The entire series so far has been showing how he prefers to let God go about his own business and to stay away from any faith.

Well, I'll give you that, but if that was the case why wouldn't he just take his cane-sword? It's more suited to his style, I think Dresden said sometime since he lunges a lot, and it's already set up for his earth magic.

This is what I'm starting to lean towards. I think that in the next book at least one of the swords will have a new owner, most likely Amorrachius. Fidellachius , I think, will still be taken up by Murphy sometime later.

Honestly, that's exactly what I thought when Harry got Amorrachius.

Fair enough but remember the holy swords will react in the presence of things like vampires. Graveyard scene for example. Harry doesnt' have to be a knight for it to protect him in that way.

Maybe he has use for faith magic at the moment...
