Thats not how it works. Thomas doesnt feed on the soul he feeds on the feelings of lust. The Skavis family feeds on despair and Malvora feeds on fear. It has nothing to do with the soul. Its the emotions that fuels the white court.

Supposedly the whitecourt actually feeds on the "life force" of the victim using emotion as somekind of conduit. So all feed on the life-energy or whatever but just use different emotions to accomplish this. I don't think its fully clear if life in this case equals soul or not though it has been suggested that it does since this kind of feeding causes "spiritual damage".

The Dementors could be the form of the White Courts' demons outside of a host body... They seem parasitic and can be destroyed by the love of their host while the Dementors are driven back by positive emotions but lack the (dis)advantage of being intertwined with a host's soul so they can't be destroyed just by love.
