I'm not sure I would want to watch anything else get mangled by that idiotic director.

 

The fact that they might not even portray Fleur and Bill hooking up is only a plus in my book. Leaves her open for Harry. That would make me go see Deathly Hollows movies. Kill Ginny and add Fleur. Too bad if that actually happened, Radcilff's acting would butcher a beautiful thing.

 

I thought it was pretty good but as everyone said, that's what a trailer is supposed to do. The kid playing Tom was pretty good imo, that calm creepiness was well done, and I think this might be the movie where Gambon's portrayal of Dumbledore might work. You need an angry Dumbledore in this movie. The inferi scene should be good if they make the zombies actually look creepy, and not shitty like they did the werewolf in PoA.

As for haircuts yeah, I think the GoF was by far the worst one, with the best one and closest to the book was PoA.

I wonder if the Sectumsempra scene with Draco will be included...

 

The only best bit of the book, it will have to be since Potter got week's of detention's because of it so yeah i guess it will be in the film.

 

Even if they do include it, it will be a lot less graphic then what I remember the book being where Draco was lying in a pool of his own blood. Since children god forbid see a little bit of fake blood in a movie.

 

I'd like to see some Rambo shit with Malfoys intestines splashing to the floor with Snape using magic to scoop them back in lol, as for the Inferi, as long as they don't botch them up like Jackson did in the Return of the King.

 

Looks great. Riddle is perfect. Hopefully this is better than the shitty OOTP movie.


They should have either a prequel book or movie series with Riddle's years in Hogwarts, his rising into power, and the First War.

 

Yeah, but don't have JKR write it, another could be said for the Founders, they were classed as some of the greatest wizards ever, it would be interesting to see how Hogwarts was formed, their relationships and so forth.

 

Trailer looks okay, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high.

On another note, girl walking through dark forest in a medical type dress generally = Horror movie first victim. Please God, let it be so.

Also, did anyone else think that the flash of Voldemort really needed an 'Invisible Bukkake' subtitle...

 

The bit where he says "I can talk to snakes" and Dumbledore just paused was pretty damned good imo. They seem to have Young Riddle down pat. The inferi scene looked mint, although I didn't see any manky-armed Dumbles in that trailer at all, but Im on a crappy connection so quality was poor.

I hope they try not to fiddle with popular conceptions of things, like they did with the werewolves. I want my zombies!

Nope, he was actually a cold and calculating psycho with a charming façade that few people ever saw through. But naturally, it's much easier to portray this sullen kid with "evil" written across his forehead.

 

I liked the trailer. The movie looks promising. Unfortunately the same applied for Order of the Phoenix and so much of that was ruined.

What I want to know is what scene has Ginny running in a field of wheat? It's late, but I can't figure out where that could possibly be unless it is a vision/nightmare.

 

Thought that was Harry, and then they just switched to Ginny getting her wand spelled away.

 

Harry was running in the field, it's from the scene that the dickwad director wanted to add, where the burrow gets attacked by Death Eaters.

 

The trailer looks good. Young Tom Riddle is excellent. I love how you can see the beginning of a smirk on his face after Dumbledore sets fire to his cabinet. It's as if he is just realizing how much power he can have...

I think they should bring back the director from PoA. The third movie was the best in its own right as a movie. That said, it didn't stick too closely to the book, but who cares?

They needed to stick to the book though; I mean in the fourth film people were constantly asking who Wormtail and Padfoot were, other than that it was the best film.

 

Too true. In fact, they miss another crucial aspect of the third book: the fact that Remus was friends with Harry's dad and helped to make the Marauder's Map. It is never mentioned! Harry never asks Remus how he knew it was a map! Never! It's astounding.

 

The whole Marauder explanations were left out, and they were one of the most important scenes in the book. Just like the whole Prophecy and Dumbledores office scene were cut out of OOTP, i'm suprised that Horcruxes aren't being cut out of HBP, they tend to cut out the important stuff.
