Slashers are allowed, as long as they don't go around and spurt out their shit all over the place.

The whole concept of the MPreg doesn't even make sense, either (and magically-induced is bullshit) - why must fangirls write such mind-scarring atrocities?

    Oh, the horror!

They love babies and pregnancies, they are intrigued by cocks, their IQ is below the possible lowest limits of any chart, and their hormones are raging rampantly...
There you have it... And of course they like the hawt Dan and Tom buttsecks...

Truly, the authorus slashus fangirlus is a terrifying species. Able to ignore whatever laws of common decency, morality, or basic anatomy suit them, they are a timeless and unstoppable force, completely immortal and utterly without fear.

Even the greatest author is no match for the illogical, bitchy, 'I-aRe-a AUhtor-noW-oS-i-cAn-WRIte-what-I-wnat!', authorus slashus fangirlus.

Fear them, my fellow DLP members. Fear the buttsecks.

Can anyone explain the attraction these ordinary people have to slash to me?

Because I don't get Slashers, I really don't, when I started reading fanfiction at 13 I was a complete fangirl stereotype, loved fluff, loved clinches and had really low standers... But even then I couldn't see the attraction to slash, what fascinates these girls about male on male hawt buttsecs? and there are so many of them! They seem to spread among fandoms like a plague, the more creepy the pairing, the better.

I have never read a single slash fic so my experiences of them are limited. My theory is that to the fangirls it's about having feeling and emotion. The stereo type of homosexual men are ones with feminine characteristics and are more emotional and understanding. To fan girls that's what they want. When they imagine slash they imagine two cute guys hugging and kissing and being intimate with each other in a non sexual intercourse kind of way. To the more intellectual they imagine a cock in a hairy asshole.

I don't understand the attraction to slash in the fandom either. And one of the things I've liked about the DLP Library is that it doesn't have any of it.

I think that Illution explained it pretty well though.

The one thing that the glut of slash on FF-net demonstrates beyond a reasonable doubt is that "authorus slashus fangirlus" has never encountered a single same-sex relationship IRL (outside, of course, of the Will and Grace episodes that they obsessively watch).

I imagine fan girls like it for much the same reason that guys like to watch Lesbian porn. Women just prefer written porn (i.e. romance novels).

I'm not at all adverse to reading slash, provided it's well written, the characterization is well done, and romance is not a primary ascept of the story. Consiquently, I don't read any slash.

@Boa: I wish every fangirl could read and understand what you just said.

Also I think the ones that got what you said would explode. So I guess we need to start an Inquisition.

Riley: And the one's that didn't should be shot. Or if you want to be humane, caged, it's for everyone's safety. Meaning all the Fangirl's that write Harry/Veela-Draco/Lucius/Remus/Snape/And any-other-males-they-want-to-see-have-smex. They would be no more, Huzzah. And Inquisition has such a bad sounding name, Crusade sounds much better.

Read my previous poast, on how the average 'authorus slashus fangirlus' mind works, explained in a hopefully rational way
