Yet again Jbern brings us another exciting installment of the action packed series with harry getting more action below the belt.

 

Nothing better than hot sex with a older French girl to fix your girl problems. 4/5 for the chapter.

 

I dont know why, but for some reason this chapter didn't really hold my attention all that much. My best guess for why, would be that it is a set-up chapter.

Nothing really occured in the chapter, but it did lay the cornerstone for the next big event in the story. Also the turbulence with Luna and Harry...felt a little off. It seemed to me that it was just another reason for Harry to get action and to cause more drama with the Harry/Luna aspect of the story.

I also feel the Harry/Luna drama is getting a bit old. It seems like they have a fight, make-up, then start over again. There is nothing really different about their arguments and very little changes when the arguments are concluded making them repetetive.

 

Hmm, interesting, but short chapter. I'm still wondering what Hermione tried to give Harry.

 

Good chapter, but another cliffhanger. Jbern is really evil to do this to us.

Its sixth year, so probably "Felix" luck elixir from Slughorn first lesson.

 

If you think about it, that is typical teenage drama at it's finest.

Sure, not exactly the greatest in character development and it might have thrown off the flow of the transitional chapter just a smidge, but on top of everything Harry has had to deal with to date, it shows that Harry is still a "typical" teenager with "typical" teenage problems.

Of course since Harry is anything BUT typical, it's not exactly something he needs to be dealing with.

 

Hmm... Last chapter looked pretty good. For some reason I got the feeling that the guide was the evil old witch lady.

On another note, MandalorianJedi unless there has been some serious rule changes, that sig is way too big.

 

I though that to, not sure if it was intentional. On the whole I liked this chapter but the stuff about Luna is just starting to annoy me, although I don't like Luna anyway so it might just be that.

 

Better? That's as small as it can go and people will still be able to read what it says.

Wouldn't that be quite the unexpected (or I suppose expected in some cases) twist. I don't think I would have even considered that.

 

For some reason, I do hope that the guide, Svetlanna, is Baba Yaga. She could be pretending to fuck with them, or to get a read on Harry's true intentions.

Wouldn't it be a bitch if she also wanted a child from him, like the Native Americans on the reservation in Bungle? It would be something though, if Harry was expecting some creepy old crone and instead got this vivacious cougar who was a wildcat in the sack.

He might have to swing back around her way once the Dark Lord is dead and rotting.

Just an idea.

 

That could almost be running joke through out the rest of the fic, where Harry travels the world, sires many children in his travels before returning home. One child per country with evil villain to defeat.

Somehow... That sounded funnier in my head, but less so seeing it on the screen...

So I'm not the only one who thought Svetlana might be Baba Yaga? Interesting... but I'm probably wrong.

I was willing to accept this Luna (she doesn't have to be canon Loony in every fic, especially since most people can't write her anyway), until the last few chapters. She's kind of turned into a jealous, high-maintenance, suspicious, bitch. Harry's a bit of a man-whore in this story, really, but I wouldn't fault him for tossing bitchy Luna out on her arse.

 

I must say I enjoy the fact that Fleur seems to be going out of her way to make sure Harry is satisfied. Part of me wants Bill to die or Fleur to leave him so I can get some Heur action, but the other part of me is disturbed by the Bill/Fleur scenes thus far and wonders if Fleur is a veela or a succubus trying to suck the life out of Bill. Either way, I think Harry should be careful because she seems to be trying to help Harry's sex life, but she tends to cause more harm than good. I'm glad Harry kicked Luna to the curb though. Luna is rather annoying in this fic.

The idea that Svetlana might be Baba Yaga was the first thing to cross my mind when Svetlana first showed up, but I doubt she will be because it just seems way too obvious. Personally, if I was Harry I'd say screw the locket I want to see the expression on Voldemort's face when I enter the battle standing atop your house firing spells. How would you even begin to react to a house running around on giant legs? That has to be the power the dark lord knows not. Also, will Harry bother asking about the demon? I mean he could probably get some information from Baba Yaga about them or maybe even strike a trade for a few demon bones.

 

That would be a good fic.

So am I the only one here that actually feels bad about Luna getting kicked to the curb? In reality, this is possibly one of the better portrayals of a teenage girl. I know my (ex)girlfriend would have been pissed if I had been sleeping with older women prior to her, and not tell her. Then again, she was a fucking pyscho.

Psychosis aside, Teenage girls are bound to get jealous and angry if the guy they're *tentatively* dating is far more experienced than them. Teenage girls are some of the most irrational creatures on the planet short of bigots and ignorant people. This Luna portrays that quite accurately.

 

I agree with Custer, to a point. While that is normal teenager behavior, Harry even acknowledges that fact somewhere I think, he really doesn't have the time or the maturity to quite handle that type of drama with everything else that is occuring.

 

I'm going to make a prediction and say that Svetlana is Baba Yaga's granddaughter. Looking at the past fics, like To Fight the Coming Darkness, that would the wonderfully twisted plot development I would expect.
