Well, I liked it. I do read some Original Universe Fics and generally like them for some reason. It may bug many people here but It's o.k. with me, though maybe you guys should make an Original Universe column and have those all moved there? Just a suggestion.

I like this story ^-^ It's long, interesting to read and Harry's not very good friends with Ron anymore It is indeed kinda slow, but it is more realistic then in fics where Harry kills voldie in chapter 2.

I especially like the thing that Harry isn't accepted by the Elves, in most fics Harry finds his soulmate/family there but in this fic he's not really accepted.

It is a bit boring sometimes.. and sometimes a bit too angsty/dramatic, but if you just ignore that it is a decent story to read.

This was one of the stories that I loved during my post angst-conflict fixation and my entering Super!Harry obsession in fanfiction. As of now, I can barely get myself to scan the updates, but it's still a pretty good story. Just not anywhere near my tastes anymore.

Like others have mentioned, I remember the beginning as somewhat interesting, but my interest skips whole chapters after that, with a random scene or two that I like.

 

This is one of those old classics. I know I used to worship this story despite the fact that it has that cutting attempt in the beginning. But the somewhat kiddish excessive drama character interactions finally put me off. But it is still a solid fantasy flic.

 

Undated again but it's not great. It's kind of just filler has a lot of Herman in it which makes it worse for me (Hate her so much!) but since most people can stand her it will probably be better. this chapter could probably of never happened and the story will still work out fine... that of compress it to like 5 paragraphs.

 

I think the author loves Eragon too much...

It shows.

Of course, it does also suck that Eragon itself is cliched in of itself in the fantasy/Dragon genre.

 

I like Eragon, it's a very good series.

That may just be me, but it is good you should try it out.

Read any other fantasy fic with dragons and you see that teenage Paolini used their ideas.

I was surprised to see this on top of my fav list when I checked my ff.net ac. I was a fan of this until chapter 22 or something. Don’t exactly remember why I stopped reading this.
I think it was because it got too boring and on top of that the author had plans for Harry/Herman.

Has anyone here read the recent chapters? Howz it? Above all, is it Harry/Herman?

 

Dear god, this takes me back... I can't bring myself to read the update because that would require me to read the whole thing again. I could've sworn that this was completed though.

 

The last update was the end of a civil war 'at least I think it's been awhile' so to speak with nothing being resolved. Hell I thought it was abandoned.

I shall edit soon with a review of the new chapter as soon as I finish it.

Review- Ok so I went and re-read the last 4 chapters.
1. A shockwave spell that stops bombs? yea. A fucking BUFF at fifty thousand feet makes no sound nor can really be seen by the Mk1 eyeball with seventy thousand pounds of love will not, cannot be, stopped by a guy with a stick. By the time it's over you, the five hundred pound bombs are going off. One mile long and a half mile wide of hell in under thirty seconds, saying the US would not help when you are getting the civvies out is insane.'though they have yet to mention america'
I will not go into the fact that if you are making a depopulated UK, nuking everything till it glows is and would be a option. Try and stop a ICBM from hitting you, we are talking at least ten MIRV warheads per missile. Cosidering the way magic people treat muggles they will not care.

I can deal with most of it but the muggle weapons bashing is a bit retarded. It's well written, kinda slow, and HP to the core with the characters but the whole bomb thing is as retarded as osama bin ladin fucking a guy. It won't happen unless people grow wings and fly.

2. Other then that I enjoyed the fic despite the Herman inclinations.

 

Ha. I forgot this story even existed still. This is the first time it's been updated in what, like 2/3 years. Sorry but I lost interest in this story. Won't be reading the new chapter.

 

Geez, still alive? I read that thing back when I created my user name.

I started to dislike it after he went back to Hogwarts.

Also, magical animaguses (animagi?) are lame.
