I don't get how hard that is to understand, sure beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that rot, but personal inclinations can't sway public opinion.

She's fugly.

Since we don't know her, and don't particularly care to do so, we couldn't give two shits as to what kind of personality she has.

It's like laughing at people who have AIDS. You care if it's someone you know, but can't be fucked if it's just a random person on the internet.

To be fair... when the planets are alighned just right, and bonnie has a group of cosmetic specialist to work on her appearance she can look decent.

But so far style and appearance wise she's making shitty choices.

But they lucked out when they cast neville. He's goign to really fit the character well when they reach the final movie. He's got a clark kent thing going on now... dorky and tall, but when the glasses come off.

I think I may see DH only for that....

 

The problem with her face is the nose... and the piggy eyes. But mainly the nose.

 

It is also her teeth, lips, cheeks, jaw, and chin..

 

And her jaw. There's something wrong with it. It's too rounded.

Lol, I actually considered saying that her nose was her best feature. Not that it's that pretty, but compared to everything else on that face it's pretty good.

 

You know you're trying really hard to be optimistic when you notice that her nose is decent.

Normal chick: "She's not very pretty, but at least she has a nice rack/ass"
Wright: "She's not very pretty, but at least she has a nice...erm...well....her nose is cute ?"

Its her smile and hair that really makes her ugly in my opinion. She can't smile without looking like a hanster is tryign to escape from her rectum.

And whoever told her to get her hair cut like that clearly didn't know what they were doing.

That and her wardrobe... makes her look like she's trying to hide a pregnancy.

It's a whole bunch of little things that make her look fugly.
Otherwise she might be... not necessarily decent, but atleast her sudden appearance wouldn't scare off woodland creatures...

 

Meh, she looks more like a beaver or a cow than a horse. Is beautiful Ginny even cannon though? I'm sure she was described as pretty by Harry sometime during HBP, but considering that he spent the whole book with a Ginny erection it doesn't really count.

Maybe just me, but I've always had an image of Ginny as rather plain, but with a likable personality.

 

Ginny's teeth are small and oddly shaped with lips five sizes too small. This adds to the droopyness of her jaw and chin, which all around makes her faces look odd and misshapen. Her eyes are small, beady and are covered like she's a fucking whore with makeup. Her hair is her only saving grace, as it can be changed with use of some female products that I don't know the name for. Then you get down to her body, and find her short and stocky with no female curves or definition. That's why Bonnie Wright is ugly. She's all around a lost cause.

Then again, if I was drinking and met her at a party in a mini-skirt and a stuffed bra top, I'd probably bag it and tag it. Thing is, she's a fucking movie star in one of the biggest productions in history and is supposed to be marrying the main character. How the hell can you put average in slutty clothing/fugly in regular clothing girl with Harry bloody Potter? Doesn't work out.

 

I doubt it, man. Guys are infinitely more picky than women. It's quite rare that a guy will 'settle' and fuck someone he doesn't find attractive. Alcohol and her 'cute nose' would not be enough reasoning for most guys to willingly get with her.

Bonnie Wright is ugly. There is no ifs and buts about it. Sure, she is not as horrifically looking as some of us are making her out to be, but when casted alongside almost every other actress who boasts much better looks than her (Emma Watson, Evanna Lynch, Katie Leung, Clemence Poesy, the actresses who played the Patils and Lavender), she simply doesn't make the cut, especially when she is playing a character who is supposed to be pretty and popular.

@Mara: Defending Wright's looks in such a thread, especially in a forum loaded with anti-Ginny sentiments isn't exactly the best idea. You may think you are just expressing your opinion. Most DLPers see it as trolling. That being said, I don't think most of us here actually wish Wright death or harm for being ugly. I don't think we even hate her at all.

 

Maybe the only place where the movies are actively trying to enact the books is in the fact that Ginny pops out of nowhere as a young, successful, 'beautiful' girl. From what I've seen of the first few movies, Bonnie Wright appearances are scarce.

Then again, I haven't been paying attention since the ending of the PoA movie.
