    Eh, I don't mind.

The longer they take, the less likely it will be as horrible as OotP.

Indeed. Taking more time gives them less excuses for sucking. So by DH pt. 2, they're all gonna be, what, 22 ? 23?

Hopefully Gambon will have died by that time, so he doesn't do the whole.

"JUS BECUZ IT WUZ IN YEH MIND DUNNE MEEN IT WAZN REEL" snarled Dumbledore bitch slapping Harry. ~ Michael Gambon, Deathly Hallows

I have a big feeling that Gambon will screw up that scene, the scene which I liked in TDH, he looks OK so far in HBP but who knows, he could suck donkey.

I'm still unsure if I'm going to go if its in two parts... I don't want to have to wait a month to see the conclusion. God forbid a year...

Yeah, the longer they take for this movie, the better it should be, theoretically.

Only problem is, they didn't delay it so they could have more time to work on the movie. They delayed it so they could release it during the summer next year, which is typically when movies make the most money.

So I doubt they'll be doing a whole lot of work to it. Maybe some, but it's probably close to finished, if not completely done already.

Awesome. I guess I wasn't the only one who thought that he was a bit to agressive in GoF, huh?

Sadly, I think that the particular scene you are thinking about is going to suck on screen anyway, so it won't really matter if Gambon is still around for the job. It seems to me that it has to potential to be pretty good (and, and my opinion, Daniel Radcliff's naturally stoned expression would fit, since Harry seemed kinda out of it in that chapter anyway so we wouldn't have to worry about the fail coming from him) or it could turn into one of those moments where you find yourself wanting to hurl into your popcorn bucket.

Stinks, I always enjoy the movies, even when they suck.

Agressive? I thought it was going to be a martial arts film the way Gambon went flying down those stairs, hiiiiya. HBP and DH have the potential to be better on screen than they were on pages, after all they wasn't the best books.

HBP needs to cut down on monsters jumping out of chests, and romance altogether, fuck ron off, screw quidditch and keep all of the memories.

DH needs to cut down camping, keep the best scenes such as Snapes Memories, Grindelwald being killed, Dumbledore & Harry together, the final battle should be awesome, not the travesty that the battle in OOTP was, they had choregraphed duels at one point and then they cut it all out.

That's the sole reason they moved the release to summer. There's an interview on yahoo where the producers explain that they moved the movie to July because they've had more success in summer than in the winter months. And it also say's that the filming is and sound work is done, so it hasn't been delayed because the film is not ready. They only moved the film to make more money.

I personally think they'll lose money with this move. I mean now that they released the preview people are going to interested in seeing it. Then they find out it's practically a year away, and the preview's awesomeness starts to wear away. I mean I know that most movies make more money in the summer, but it's Harry Potter. It'll make money whatever fucking month you put it out in. And it's already been confirmed that there will only be three memory scenes (iirc), so this movie is probably going to be a disappointment (though probably not as bad as the book). And with the fact that they are making the seventh book into two movies just means that there is going to be a shit-load of camping scenes.

In the third movie my friend threw her popcorn bucket when they showed the 'werewolf' (I've never seen such a pathetic werewolf, not even in cartoons for children!). The guy in front of her threw is own popcorn back and so on...
In the end she took my cheese sauce for my nachos and poured it in his hood. She still isn't allowed back into the cinema, but it made the film a hell lot more funny.

The trailer looks good, but they always take the best scenes, so that doesn't say much about the movie, but how much worse than the book can it get?

I hated that part of the movie, it has to be one of the worst moments of the series...

    Perhaps it's even the contrary.

So they say. I wonder if they don't fear that illegal copies spreading through the net will cut down their profit.

Perhaps it's not the profit which is responsible for the delay, but JKR.

"Oh No. Not enough Ginevra. And no - no shoelaces. Snogging. More Snogging. And making out. And quality time. At the lake. With a beautifull ginger sunset."

Juck, there are only two ways to make romance acceptable in movies, either you pair it with another genre like comedy or action or even horror and the romance is only secondary or we skip most of this fuzzy stuff and get to the fun stuff.

But with Ginny and what we know of HbP...well, if they don't make major changes this is so going to fail. Cut down the romance add some nice scenes with Lynch or Watson and it may be ok.

They should add kinky sex scenes with shoelaces and monsters in the chest.

I'd laugh my ass off at the faces of the kids going to see it and their parents. Cause a trauma to a whole generation.

True, there'd be a chance of seeing Bonnie Wright naked, but the internet has done its job and we're pretty much immune to the sight.
