This really is one of my favorite fics at the moment, apart from Sixth Year and Denarian Knight I'm not following anything else.

Exactly good point there. The author is writing a realistic fanfiction unlike the ones coming out now, where it gets major ooc and starts bashing anyone and everyone or where Harry and some girl suddenly fall in love.

From what I know of he is going to make Ron/Hermione slowly drift apart from Harry, no sudden dislike and then oocness and Ron/Hermione bashing. I mean it didn't even cross my mind of Hermione bashing with Bill and Harry getting annoyed with her I mean acting like that will get on peoples nerves.

I also liked Bill's I liked Bill's characterization in it, it's nice to read stuff where it's not all about the typical other characters, Ginny(Hate her) Nevile and so on.

Also the fact that Harry was actually having a little fun in the story was good. Most stories just have him all way to serious and never having fun.

Anyway I rate this story 5/5, it's well written, chapters are nice and lengthy, it's not abandoned and it's realistic.

I gave 1 review per chapter thats how much I liked it so far.

Updated with a pretty awesome Sirius/Peter centric chapter.

EDIT: After reading back through the topic I realized I never rated this.

    5/5. No contest.

    Updated yet again.

As scaryisntit has mentioned, the Sirius/Peter scene was very well done. Good to see that the author knows how to write a relatively good duel scene. Also, the fact that Sirius can still duel pretty well gives me hope that under his influence (as well as Padma's), Harry will be far from his useless canon self.

Yeah but now theres no way sirius can be cleared of those murder charges. So he still has to stick to the shadows.

I felt the need to explain myself on the topic of whether Sirius will be deemed innocent. As far as I'm concerned, the decision whether Sirius would be cleared is entirely political. It's a matter of the government in charge weighing up the pros and cons of Sirius being found innocent. Sadly, whether he committed the crime or not is pretty irrelevant; it's all about political repercussions. Besides, there is such a thing as Veritaserum but I doubt Sirius will ever be brought in for a public trial. Just thought I better give my own input to clear that up.

And it's nice to see that I'm not too bad at writing a duel since I'm not overly confident in that area of writing. I have a terrible habit of flicking over all action sequences when I'm reading them, which I'm sure doesn't help.

But if anyone does ever have any questions about the fic then I'm happy to answer them.

Its solidly written without any of the clinches that get on my nerves, and the characterizations and interactions are spot on, however for some reason it just couldn't hold my interest.

I'm seriously enjoying this fic. I won't rate it since it's already in the library, but I do enjoy seeing cross-house participation in Hogwarts. I OD'd on Gryffindors during my brief Harry/Ginny phase when I first started reading HP fanfics.

I definitely like the Harry/Padma interaction here.

I thought that it was quite good actually, good writing and decent characterisation. It managed to hold my interest, but it felt like something was missing. Maybe a lack of action, or maybe it's because I've read so much Dark!Harry that I'm having a hard time really, really appreciate something that isn't.

A pretty weak 4/5 from me. I'll be following this though, something is bound to happen soon.

Just read this story and have to say I really enjoyed it, unlike many stories recently that can't hold my interest past 3-4 chapters this story progressed slowly and actually seemed like it could have all happened in the real HP books. I especially like how the author is developing his relationship slowly with Padma instead of rushing it. Also the fact Harry isn't completely lazy and retarded in this story but still not suddenly developing amazing power are all good features.

I rate this story a 4/5 for it's slow start but steady improvement and great pairing of course.

    Updated with Chapter 12.

Not much happened this chapter...but it was still really enjoyable. I recommend that fans of this series go read the next installment.

The update was mostly filler, but it blends well with the storyline. You start to see a little more interaction with the various Ravenclaws and the DADA professor, and it definitely makes you feel the plot deepening.

Well, the latest chapter was pure filler however I greatly enjoyed it. It was refreshing to have a chapter in a story that was jam packed with action as well as having nice characterization. Looking forward to the next chapter

    Updated.

A good chapter, once again I had the Jeconais-smile on my face when I read about Harry, Alicia and Padma, and then it took a completely unexpected turn ... or perhaps not, after all. The thing with mystery-stories is that I forget the little clues if the update takes longer (no offence meant, though, Neisseria), so it might not have been all that unexpected.

I felt like I forgot something important. I'll have to re-read the story.

No offence taken. This chapter did take forever to get out and the second half was re-written several times and I still hate it. There were a few hints with Trelawney earlier, but nothing major.

Hopefully I'll be able to get the next chapter out around Christmas time but I've got a Viva coming up that I really ought to be studying for. The plot should be speeding up soon as Harry figures out just what's going on. To be honest, I'm still surprised that only one person I know of has figured out what's going on.

p.s. thank you to the person who said they liked my sig.

I normally don't like any fics that seems to skip out Book 4, but this one I like.
