I loved this one, Dexter!Naruto was awesome. Definitely one of the better fanfics I've seen recently.

 

I thought it was brilliant too, up until this one line.

Completely ruined any excitement I had for the next chapters.

 

I thought the summery was pretty shit but i'll give it a try...i stopped reading naruto fanfics all together because of the all the tremendous garbage fics i had to filter through in order to get the good, readable ones.

 

Ditto. That line was awful...

I really, really hope he turns them down, and they try to kill each other.

 

Because we all know Kraken is known for finishing what he starts...

(You know... looking back, there's a lot of failure in Foxhound. There are just so few Naruto fics with an epic-type writing style that a lot of people who crave that kind of thing [fantasy fans, mostly] clung to it.)

 

To each his own, I guess. I rather like the thought of a crazed family bent on revenge; it's new, it's fresh, it's hip, it's BUFU.

That one hasn't been updated forever. It's a bit too cheerful for my taste. Kiba, Naruto and Sasuke became good friends before they graduate. It goes on but I haven't read them. It's a feel good story that all good fun.

Edit: I just spent 15 hours watching Dexter's first season because of one the of earlier suggested fics. It was fucking awesome.

 

Yeah it's kinda a feel good fic. But I mean... in a fic where you kill an entire platoon of ninja because they ruin a shirt...

Karin and Tayuya are OC's as far as I'm concerned. Our thoughts on this fic are very different. Me? I just want to see who dies next, and in what context they die. That's all. If he has psycho sister's to help him, all the better. They could be Jan from the Brady Bunch and Tia from Sister, Sister.

As long as they're creepy serial killers, it's gold to me.

 

1 creepy assassin/serial killer = gold.
A family of serial assassins? = lulzy, but not as good.

A family feud, killing off each others friends (provided that they have friends) would be pretty cool though.

 

This was better than I expected.

While it starts of as a feel good fic it changes drastically and becomes much darker. And it's close to 200K words so that's good. Another plus is there's no bullshit romance or true love crap even though the pairing is listed as Naru/Hina. One part that irritated me though was:

When Tsunade made Naruto the Hokage even though he's a sadistic, cold-blooded killer who's fighting for his sanity. It just seemed unrealistic to me, surely her decision can't be final.

Still, it's not a bad way to kill some time.

The council decrees that Naruto either be exiled or executed, and threaten to go to the fire lord should Tsunade do neither. The end of chapter 5 is the one of the greatest moments I've seen in Naruto fanfiction.
