The author has a great creativity, but just can't pull it off to put his awesome ideas in words. Such a person needs a co-writer,
who has the right experience to write this and/or help him.

First 5 chapters were sorta all right. After that this story pretty much got worse and worse. I completely stoped reading after chapter 11.

The next chapter has just been posted, and again a really original twist has been added. I haven't seen the connection between the Goblet of Fire and Fawkes anywhere before. Also, Dumbledore's interest in Harry has just taken another surprising turn. I really don't know what to make of this story. One moment, it is just brilliant. Much of the time, it is just insipid. I think I will just keep reading - it is certainly original enough to hook my interest.

OMFG HE MADE HARRY A GINGER! MURDER DEATH KILL!

It's interesting, at least, unlike the past 5 or so chapters. We'll see if it manages to pick up some actual action or just keeps masturbating in place.

Infinite possibilities. This has just turned in to the HP version of the Naruto time loop fic.

At least it doesn't get boring plotwise and I really didn't see that one coming at the beginning of the story.

I wonder - is this the most evil version of Dumbledore around? Or is there another fic that has a comparably evil Dumbledore?

I am no fan of Dumbledore, but this one is - well - frankly well over the top.

As some of you have mentioned earlier, the author has good imagination, but he/she does not know how to write a good, believable and interesting story. Therefore a lot of potential, plenty of original ideas waste. It is very frustrating for me (3.5/5).

Lol, at this point it wouldn't surprise me if he crossed over both his stories, and had the characters help each other out.

He starts out alright, but each update gets consecutively worse.

I am not sure about that. He's got some really original ideas. The latest chapter has another such excellent idea - about Harry's invisibility cloak. The problem is the way he uses his ideas. He would do better if he cooled down a bit (he's posting at a very quick clip) and thought of how to use them.

This guy can REALLY write, but he's using way to many concept and plot twists in one fic, causing the quality to fluctuate impossibly.

    Can't rate.

The idea with the invisible cloak is really good and makes sense if we think about cannon. Nearly every time he wears that thing something gets wrong.

Nice ideas, but soo many of them...

The latest chapter was interesting, but again, nothing great. It has another gem of an idea, however. Snape's - er - side business and his collection of potions and ingredients. But the way the story is woven together leaves quite a bit to be desired. The author seems to be throwing everything and the kitchen sink into the story.

Maybe this story should be in the Library for the sheer number of ideas in the story. Although it is difficult to see where it would fit.

Regardless, the story holds my interest.
    Regards,
    Maidros

maidros@: I agree with you, the sheer number of original ideas used is something you have to take into account with this fanfiction.

I liked the idea the Hermione plays Trelawney, in all her crazy-woozy-death predicting glory. Ironic, isn't it? Must be a first or has anyone from you seen that one?

Yeah, PL was always good with coming up with new, original ideas. Sadly, he seems to be doing the same thing he did with his Naruto fic: throw them all in one story and watch them combine into shit.

    Not surprising, but sad.

Polyjuice in the wizarding porn industry have been explored before but I've never read about this polyjuice/pedophile theme.

A new chapter and some more new ideas. I loved the idea of feeding Dumbledore's instruments to Nifflers. Also, some of Dumbledore's `alarms' are just excellent. The idea of a watchskull is one I have never seen anywhere. This version of Dumbledore is utterly irremediably evil.

The only problem with the story is that the serious bits are mixed with with humour and extraneous bits (Colonel Sanders again and all that chicken stuff) that makes the fic impossible to rate.

Yes, I had never imagined that. And the Trelawney/Hermione and student/Hermione mix in the class and her predictions were just excellent and amusing. This story is a veritable mine of ideas.

This story fits so perfectly into the Recycling Bin. It's fun to read, simpley because of all the new ideas, but it really isn't any good. It's a fanfic twinkie.

The problem with PL is he writes himself into holes. He had a great premise with his Naruto fic and is the best time loop I've read, but he just doesn't know what to do next. The same in this one. He started with an original idea (i.e. dementor sucked part of his soul without the whole I killed a hufflepuff and went to azkaban but it wasn't me I swear) and he just doesn't know what to do with it. I watched this story go downhill and unless something changes, I'm going to stop reading it. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a 100k piece of crap.
