1.Book 7-Harry walking to his death. Takes some balls to do that. The power the dark lord knows not was balls, not love.
2.Book 7-Finding out Dumbledore didn't always use to be a good guy.
3.Book 6-Dumbledore's death.
4.Book 5-Entire dueling sequence starting with Order of the Phoenix arrival and duel between Dumbledore and Voldemort.
5.Book 7-Nagani in that historian's body.

 

When Harry died. I honestly started squeeling until the bastard came back to life

Neville cutting of Nagini's head with the Sword of Gryffindor. Hoenstly I pictured that in my mind and now I adore Neville. Go Neville!

 

1. The Dursley's reactions to Harry's first Hogwarts letters.
2. Lockhart being threatened into submission by two 12 year-old boys.
3. Marge Dursley being blown up.
4. The rebirth of Voldemort.
5. Umbridge getting carted off by centaurs.

 

Most of the scenes listed above are some of the best. Honestly, it's been years since I even looked at the books, my HP knowledge consist 99% fandom >_> But, am I the only one who seriously cracked and enjoyed the scene where the Marauder's Map insulted Snape who was trying to read it? ^^' I remember laughing out loud quite a bit.

 

No I too remember laughing at that when I first read it.

1. Harry's walk to death (DH)
2. The Maze/Voldemort's revival (GoF)
3. Dumbledore vs Voldemort (OOtP)
4. Harry yelling at Dumbledore after hearing the prophecy (OOtP)
5. Snape's memories (DH)
6. First Task (GoF)
7. Dumbledore's death (HBP)
8. Harry trying to Crucio Bellatrix (OOtP)
9. Weasleys leaving Hogwarts (OOtP)
10. Nagini popping out of Batilda Bagshot (DH)

Wow, that was actually quite hard. It would've been easier had any of the following happened:

- Ginny being mauled by Greyback
- a duel between Snape and Bellatrix
- Harry and Voldemort duelling without using Avada Kedavra and Expelliarmus
- Harry and Fleur gettin' it on
- the Weasleys being burned alive by Fiendfyre (sp?)

 

My favorite part part was also when Hedwig got fucking destroyed in her goddamn cage. That was epic fail for sure for Harry. I hope it was a fucking charm or something that would be awesome!

 

Um, what?

Anyway, my favorite was the part where Moody is revealed to be Barty Crouch Jr., because when I first read it I was young enough to have trouble putting together the subtler clues and it came as a total surprise/epiphany. I've liked that scene ever since.

 

I was totally riveted during the scene where Remus attacks Harry when the latter calls him a coward. It was such a pivotal moment in Remus' character and by far one of the most interesting scenes in the last book.

 

I forgot about that, too. You're right; that's a great scene.
