Just finished the first chapter of paid in blood...

Ideas are good, writing is good, but execution stinks. Sarutobi and "all the ninja population" just appear out of nowhere, as if all of them were waiting outside of Naruto's apartment. The hell? Naruto also says way too much, there's no reason to explain himself to his ex-peers (or if there is one, it could at least be stated or hinted at).

Pudgy's stories are... at least in comaprison to DLP's standards, average. His other one (the one with Temari and the plant powers) is without conflict and is just a lot of fluff. Not that they aren't fine to read when one has time, but I would hardly say 'best'.

@FollowTheReaper: Go read Fosfor/Case13 Naruto fics. Then compare it to Pudgy's. And you'll see why it's mediocre.

I agree with Chime. Pudgy has interesting ideas but he lacks the skills to fully present them. The writing is bland, has no distinctive style, and reads more as a skeletal draft than the full juicy story it can be.

 

Not only that, but you people are posting fics that have been posted before.

Started reading this one, using the paragrasp addon for firefox. Got past the Uchiha massacre and it struck me as odd that I hadn't had to reconfigure paragrasp yet.

It's working fine for me, but I've found in previous mix ups that if you enter a few 0's right before the chapter number in the URL (Example "3149411/20/" becomes "3149411/00020/") sometimes it'll get the chapter to work.

I'll send you a copy/paste of the chapter if that doesn't work.

 

Anyone want to kill the author of Time and Again for that horrible cliffhanger (chapter 37)?

 

Lol. Most definitely. It was definitely one of the worst cliffhangers I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

S'pretty good. I knew of the Rosario shounen, vaguely, when I started this, so I didn't have much hopes coming into this story, but it's surprisingly good, and you don't need to be familiar with the crossover to read it.

Warning: Raep, Secks, a spattering of emo here and there, potentially Dark!Naruto; updates DAILY, or has been for the last week I've had it on my alert list. I wonder how long that will be maintained? Worth trying the first 10 chapters or so.
