And every girl has a boyfriend? Or they even put out for their boyfriend? Saying Imperio is just much easier.

    1)
Philosopher's Stone (have you seen the price of gold?)
    Legilimency
Metamorphamagus Ability (no male pattern baldness!)
    Imperious Curse
Sirius's Flying Motorcycle - It's just so damned cool.

    2) Same as 1) but I might just have to swap out the motorcycle for the Fidelius.

Nah, screw it. You wouldn't kill me--you'd want a ride too. Motorcycle stays, dammit.

No, in the first book, either Flitwick or Hermione made the feather fly all around the room. Locomotor seems to be more of a hover charm (I know that that is not a real distinct distinction, but oh, well).

    1. Apparation.
    2. Felix Felecis - Viva Las Vegas!
    3. Imperio
    4. Metamorhmagus - Good luck trying to recognize me DLP
    5. Philosopher's Stone - I could live for a long while and eventually become
    A. The Most Learned Person Alive
or b. The Ruler of another World Super Power and our cup would runneth over with Culture , production tilles, and science generated from sea squares.

You know what, make it a combination of both.

I thought about this a lot and geared it towards success in life. I had this list, numbered, in my head since I started reading fanfic.

    1. Obliviate. Do and say whatever the fuck you want. If the results aren't what you wanted... try again. Borrow money, seduce someone, torture information out of them, or delete the evidence. Manipulate to your hearts content and restart when the programming turns out to not be quite what you wanted.

    2. Veela Charm. It is a sad truth but ugly and shy people have been handed terrible cards by genetics. Life is easier when you are beautiful and boisterous because people tend to flock around attractive and charismatic people.

    3. Accio. It is useful when you are on the couch and the beer is in the fridge and it is the perfect killing curse. With a little knowledge of biology you could probably accio just the right membrane, bone etc. and be left with a corpse that looks like it died of natural causes.

    4. Apparition. No explanation necessary.

    5. Impervius. (sp?) Cast on my skin, clothes etc. Good for high risk living.

    1) Imperius - would go fuck my way through hollywood
    2) Obliviate - obvious reasons
    3) Apparation - get to hollywood
    4) Philosophers Stone
    5) Metamorphagus so I don't look old when I am.

    Imperius
    Apparation
    Legilimency
    Metamorphmagus abilities
    Disillusionment

I'd pick these five for a world with or without other magic users. I was having a hard time deciding between the killing curse, the imperius curse, and the disillusionment charm, though. The killing curse is unblockable (and untraceable- especially with disillusionment- so it's a get out of jail free card), but it just doesn't have the same flexibility as the imperius and disillusionment duo.

And a mix of Legilimency, Metamorphmagus abilities, and Imperius could be the ultimate in not only being able to control and put down the idiots in this world, but also psychological warfare on those with a firm will.

Imagine someone having too strong of a will to allow for the Imperius curse to take control. With liberal amount of legilimency, you could easily find someone's worst nightmare/most tragic moment/greatest loss/etc. and make them relive it. Panicked minds = broken wills.

Oh, and apparation would just kick ass.

BTW - The philosopher's stone does NOT equal a magic power in my book.

If you could choose it though, it would be at the top of my list.

Philosopher's stone - Money is just as good as invisibility if you don't want to get in trouble...
    Imperius
    Apparation
    Metamorphmagus
    Legilimency

Don't be a retard. The Summoning Charm doesn't work that way. You can't just summon someone's eyeball or brain out. Have it never occurred to you that most spells, especially one like this, have their limits? It is reasonable enough to mention using the charm to summon a blade or boulder through someone as an example of it being used for lethal purposes, but your idea is not only old, it's dumb too. FAIL

I read through your post a second time and realized you were an even bigger retard than I expected. Let's completely suspend disbelief for a moment and say you can use the Summoning Charm as a weapon like you've mentioned. If you summoned out someone's bone, it will probably rip through his flesh and skin on it's way to you, with the likely splattering of much blood and gore. Dying of natural causes eh?

Also, if you summon your opponent's bone (let's just say... Tibia), it will most likely just drag him/her to you by his or her leg...

ah well here's my choices erm choice.

the skill to make the Spellbook that gives you 5 Harry Potter spells, potions, skills or talents, why waste the first one when you can get more i am now a complete wizard bye bye everyone there is only room for one dark lord in the world and that's me, favorite spells/skills/talents/potions.

    1.killing curse
    2.imperius
    3.obliviate
4.the skill to create the sorcerers stone in 2 easy steps
    5.Metamorphmagus
    6.matter manipulation spell
    7.crucio (why not)
    8.occlemency mastery.
    9.legilemency mastery.
    10.voldemorts flying spell

and so on i think you get the idea if i cannot do this though here are my spells for both scenarios.

1.occlemency mastery (i do not want anyone in my head and none of you are masters at legelimency so....)
2.legilemency mastery (now you're puny mental defenses do not stand a chance plus i bet that i could use this to change somones head around until its better than impirius.)
    3.matter manipulation spell
4.glamour charm that others cannot end (i could use this for invisibility AND changing my apperance.
5.the skill to make the sorcerers stone in 2 easy steps.

and thats it, sorry about the arrogance but hey lots of power makes you arrogant look at the ministry.

First of all, it's kinda' implied that you are a master of what you choose.

Second, you know that against many of us, you'd lose? Your set is just about staying out of sight. Most people here are about combat or taking over the world. As soon as you're seen, you're screwed as you can't even run away.

@halestone: purpose was to use canon spells/magic...

I'm late to the game, but meh. For me:

    1. Apparation
    2. Portkey
    3. Legilimency
    4. Summoning Charm
    5. Metamorphmagus (I wish I was a lil' bit taller...)

    Against DLPers
    1. Fidelius. It's the only spell I'd really need, but if a DLPer managed to get past that, then...
    2. Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder (...I'll blind ya...)
    3. Sectumsempra (...I'll cut ya...)
    4. Fiendfyre (...I'll burn ya...)
    5. Portkey spell (...then I'll leave ya.)

And some of us are after style points. I'm afraid you lose there too.

    Badly.

Sirius's customized Triumph > all ten of your skills.

    2.imperius
    3.killing curse
4.tracking charm (then i can find deserters from my army of chaos.)
    5.superpowered shield charm

other people of DLP having it

    1.make portkeys
    2.occlemency
    3.sorcerers stone

@ halestone48 - You have to be an admin looking for bandwagoning newbs. How is it that you have 1 post but have posted at least twice in my immediate knowledge?

Or, rather, I HOPE you're an admin looking for bandwagoning newbs. Because if you aren't, you have failed miserably in a completely serious fashion- which makes Snarf sad.
[IMG] <-- SAD SNARF IS SAD...

No one wants snarf to be sad.

BTW, 'then I can find deserters from my army of chaos' was the queerest thing said in the history of DLP. And this is including Deathinapinkboa... (who made queer awesome. You... not so much.)
