Edit: BTW, does Naruto actually know who his father is? I mean, the Yondaime is not mentioned by name anywhere in the manga till Jiraiya leaves for Ame. So it might not be all that surprising if it turned out that Naruto knew his dad's name was Minato but did not realize that it was the Yondaime himself.

Madara held an entire organization compromised solely of S-rank ninja's of bloody nature without them ever knowing. The hell is Sasuke gonna do? He's way in over his head.

 

Stats aren't meant to be used that way. Take Lee for example, all he has is Taijutsu and he can still wipe the floor with some people with higher stats then him

 

Actually Gai can use other than Taijutus. it's just that he prefers not to. It's Lee who can't use other than taijutsu

 

Sorry, I wanted to put Lee there. If you look at his stats they are one of the lowest, yet he can wipe the floor with anyone from the rookie 9. Honestly, the stats are useless if you want to know who will win and who won't. All it takes is one advantage or jutsu.

 

Which is why Naruto has "surpassed" Kakashi.

 

Keep in mind that this is Sasuke we're talking about. Sasuke is never in over his head, as far as Kishimoto is concerned. Logic is superfluous.

 

are you serious?! He was in way over head when he first began the decent towards power. The fact that he realized what he had done after killing his brother is another realization of what he had done. That is a reason as to why he was in way over his head. And now he says he is using Madara and there organization. While he may think this, what he doesn't realize is that Madara is in control of this the whole time. Sasuke is the one who is being used this whole time but what i want to know is for what purpose. Where does Sasuke fit within the Madara's grand scheme of things.

Seriously, i think we already estabilished the fact that people think Kishi has a hard on for Sasuke but Kishi doesn't seem to care. As shown in a couple of chapters.

 

Well, the possibility is that he needs Sasuke to control the Kyuubi in order to capture Naruto. That is what I assume was the reason why Madara kept Itachi around despite knowing his true loyalties. We will see when Naruto beats Pein with sage chakra, showing that strategy won't work anymore.

 

I have some difficulty remembering a time when Sasuke was not, logically, in way over his head. The thing about it is that there always happened to be some deus ex machina to come and save him. Which I why I noted that this really isn't a significant point because, not matter how messed up Sasuke's situation gets, he's going to find a way out of it. And is somehow going to be able to bend Madara to his submission and take control of the Akatsuki, or something equally ridiculous. The point is whether or not it's really worthwhile to try to apply logic to circumstances where it's so clearly lacking. Sasuke's going to get what Sasuke wants, common sense be damned.
