I just got the first four books from my grandparents when they came back from a trip in the USA and you're telling me that the next one will be out when they go back there in December?

    Awesome.

There is something really nice about an author with two well written series that is capable of putting out a new book about very six months.

I got to about half way through the prologue before I decided to wait for December... I doubt I'll last the week >_>.

Damn, That's impressive. I was expecting to wait till April, so this has come as quite a surprise. Pretty impressive on Butcher's part, I just hope it isn't done half assed because he rushed it. Not worried though his Alera series so far hasn't let me down. Much better than Dresden imo.
If Alera is in December I wouldn't be surprised if Dresden comes out in April then.

I lasted about ten minutes, and consequently felt a deep sadness when I clicked "View All Preview Chapters", and went back to the top of the prologue.

Well, my resolve to wait until December lasted all of 2 hours.

    This looks completely epic.

    I thought
the vord could use furies as long as they saw someone else furycraft first... Did these vord see someone do it first and then learn furycrafting, or did they just learn it themselves?

Also, there's no way I'm going to be able to stop myself from reading all the sample chapters. When I get the book I'll probably end up skimming through them until I get to a new chapter.

It appeared to me that they copied whats-his-face's fire furycraft.

It seemed not to long ago that I read the last one, if only more authors had his capability of producing quality works so quickly.

    Ughhh.

    Damn cliff hangers.

Can't wait for the book to come out!

Oh also, the first scene-I came. That's one of the biggest displays of major fury crafting we've seen yet, and Butcher pulls it off nicely.

Looks like more Alera awesomeness is coming up ... not that I expected anything else from Butcher.

Why does December have to be so far away?

    What's that?

My eyes see the epitome of epicness coming a week sooner?
