I saw someone try to pitch one of these a while back, it was idiotic then and I feel the same now.

Of course, it was something like a 18!time-traveling!dimension-hopping!HPx11!FemaleHarry HurtComfort>UnderagedSelfcest fic.

That may have contributed to my feelings more than the idea itself.

I have one point to put into the incredibly horrible thought of Dumblescest, that actually came from some random fic I was reading. (It was an insult)

Edit: On topic, I would say that Dumbledore incest might be somewhat workable assuming the story was set in an appropriate time period; nobody wants to read incest (or any other kind of sex) involving people over a hundred years old. This creates problems since unless there is time travel involved there's no way to make the story Harry-centric, and if there is time travel than that raises a lot of different issues for the fic to deal with.

Also, like any fic really needs a plot to give the whole relationship some reason for existing; otherwise it's just random porn.

 

Harry gets send back in time and takes the place of Grindlewald. He seduces Albus away from Ariana...no, that is stupid.

Dumblecest has nothing going for it. Stick to Harry sticking it to his mom.

 

We already have something quite similar. Though, I wish more people would write it and I had the will to finish mine.

 

We in fact had more people write it and it largely came out as utter shit ruining the original love affair I had with the idea.

I still pine after Jamie.

All others were wretched imitations of her.

Yeah, actually came up with a plot for that story and everything. Still have it. I would probably rewrite it a bit to make the glaringly obvious fanfavors a little subtle (read: Harry in female body going down on his super hot curvy sister). Anyway, I have 5 or 6 WiP, so it will have to wait.

But there is a sister character in Binding...if I ever get he next chapter out!
