Cherokee are my favourite tribe in AoEIII. I have befriended/taken advantage of them many times.

    Zombie: we're practically brothers.

Lol. My only knowledge about Native Americans is from Karl May's adventure novels. So are those names actually for real? Little bear? Sleeping wolf? Stupid ape?

... wait. No, not that one. I confused something there. Happens sometimes.

Hell if I know. IIRC all eight great grandparents immigrated from Ireland, but I've got no clue exactly when, from what area, or why. Hypocritical as it may be given my last post, I don't really give a damn about my heritage, and thus speak of it in only the most general of terms. I meant that line more to say 'hey, no Native American ancestors' than as any actual claim to Irishness. I can't do a remotely convincing fake of the stereotypical accent, know nothing of Irish culture, politics, or geography, have never been to Ireland, and I don't really intend to rectify any of those things in the near future.

I do worship Guinness as a minor deity if that counts for anything though.

Edit: Goddamnit. I have no excuse for that.

You have 8 great grandparents. Your paternal grandparents' parents (4)+ your maternal grandparents' parents=8.

I cant stand the people who know nothing about their heritage until they are seniors in high school and find out they can get Minority scholarships because they have indian blood.

I once was at a forum meeting of another (non-HP) forum - and swore not to do something like that ever again.

It was so awkward and weird that I stopped visiting the forum. Half the people attending the meeting turned out to be nerds without RL and nothing to talk about. A lot of members I thought to be ok were the contrary in real life and were that kind of people I usually avoid to associate with. I probably was exactly that kind of guy they usually avoid to associate with.

This kind of awkwardness already starts with the PYP thread. I lost a lot of respect for some people when I saw the pictures they hand out.

And finally, where is the fun once we confirmed Shezza's gender because everyone saw her visiting the women's toilet?

That said - if there was a meeting somewhere far away from home, in an area I am visiting just that time, then I might actually attend. But I would pose as a random member / n00b and never reveal my true identity :p

Lol, the reason why I like the idea is the exact opposite: I have seen it work really well in the past, when a group of people in the UK from the online text-based RPG StarGateWars met up for a BBQ. There were just 5 or so of them, but it looked like it went really well.

As for who would organise it... I'm not sure if it will even happen. I won't name names, but there's only a few people (6-7 out of 13) who voted "Yes" that I'd really want to meet, lol.

Judging by the poll a U.S. one could work though.

The problem is, I doubt anyone would travel further than maybe a hour or two car ride from their home. I know I'm not getting on a plane to meet you faggots. If it were in LA? Then maybe. Otherwise, fuck you guys. :p

    I lol'd.

Somehow, I can't imagine meeting anyone from this forum sober. Alcohol on the other hand would save me from ever having to admit I'd met up with (albeit Darkside) HP goons :D

If you're bored in LA, you're not doing it right.
