How is Peter going to get his powers back? That will be interesting to explain.

Mr. Petrelli must be ridiculously powerful, having amassed powers over his lifetime and now having taken all the one Peter clocked up.

 

I think he could just take some of claires blood and wala.

because so far the powers seem to be mental and genetic. As I see it, Mr. Petrelli power is a mix of peters and sylars. He sees how things works and can copy powers as a result by interacting with the brain, but he does it in a way that isn't as evasive. It just damages the brain in a way to prevent accessing abilities.

The only other way would be for him to rewrite every cell in peters body to eliminate the genes for the powers. I don't see that being the power.

Because of that I think an infusion of claires or even sylars blood may do the trick. He may have to start from the begining again without any powers and he has to collect them once again or he may restart from where he left off.

But I think they may take this oportunity to restart because he's a bit overpowered right now.

 

I think it's just a good opportunity to get rid of Sylar's too dangerous power.

 

Sucks, I wanted to see Peter unhinged and going the hell off. I like Slyar's character more each episode, the dad looks badass.

I don't like how they just wrote off Adam so quick, that was really weak.

Hey I've been watching season one to remember it better and I found something funny. In episode 20 (Five Years Gone) when Peter and Sylar are about to fight, Sylar says that it is brother vs brother. Now during this time Sylar is still looking like Nathan but it is still a cool way to foreshadow it.

 

Also, it didn't make much sense. If Mr. Petrelli took his healing powers away, then wouldn't he just start to age normally? I thought that his healing ability kept him young by working all the time, so if it just stopped, it wouldn't be like his body was making up for lost time, he just wouldn't have an anti-age thing going on anymore.

 

He can paralyze, we know that. I think he paralyzed himself in order to keep himself from aging because he knew he was getting old. After he took adam's power, he no longer had to worry about aging, and unparalyzed himself. Or maybe he was sick and paralyzing himself keeps his sickness from getting worse. Adam's power would cure all sicknesses, I think.

 

Since when has he been able to paralyse? I got the impression that he became sick but did not have any healing abilities, thus he had to wait for Adam to show up or someone like Linderman to heal him before he could go back to being a normal villain.

Adam died because his regeneration no longer held his cells together... Which is kinda silly in retrospect. He ended up being nothing but a deux ex machina for Mr Petrelli to revive himself. On the other hand, we now know there are at least two ways for immortal Heroes to be killed, which is good. If I was in to Heroes fanfiction though, that vortex guy would be the equivalent of the Veil...

 

Hollywood logic.

 

His body rapidly aged to compensate for the amount of strain it'd been put under keeping him alive all those years. Makes sense to me. Weak, but makes sense.

 

I don't know how to make all of this make sense anymore. So fucking convoluted.

 

WTF was up with Elle? What a shitty way to get rid of her. Oh suddenly her powers are going crazy, oh well send her of to the home of retired super-freaks. This season has obviously become a cleanser season similar to the House of M in Xmen. They're weakening all the super mutants, and getting rid of the shitty filler ones. Maya's gone, Immortal white Jap is gone, Peter is weakened, Sylar's been weakened, Parkman's dad is gone, and now most likely Elle is too.
And why does no one use the paint the future power? For god sakes would it kill Sylar or Peter's dad to stop a minute and draw a quick sketch?

 

Did anyone else think they were preping claire to turn gay with that whole elle plane sitch...

I got this very girl power, marissa barton from The O.C., Gabriel from xena vibe going on there.

If it happens then I'm shunning heroes like I shunned the last season of UPN's buffy the vampire slayer.

 

I had assumed that he could paralyze with what he did to his wife... but really, I am not really aware of just what he did to her.

 

I figure he's some sort of strong mentalist, or has that power, and he just shut her body down.

Making him so powerful though was stupid. They had to figure out a way to strip Peter down though, Peter was way too strong, didn't use any of the powers worth a shit, and is too much of an emotional trainwreck.

He was best acting like Sylar. Good episode all around though. The Elle thing, she went supernovaish at the prison break, her powers are going haywire after the death of her dad.


PLEASE fucking get rid of Daphne, and Hiro.

 

And Clair. She is just so damn annoying.

But overall, i like this episode.

 

Keep Hiro for now. I'm predicting major character development after his 'spirit walk'.

 

There is one thing i don't understand. Having powers, it is just as part of them as it is a there blood. So when he sucked Adam's powers, i understand that he died. But wouldn't the same be said for others?

 

Hiro had his moments, but now, whenever he comes onto the scream, I just sigh, because his antics are no longer interesting or amusing anymore.

 

Oh come on! I enjoyed seeing him getting bashed by the shovel over and over again. He deserves it. That was quite funny.
