I'm a Black Metal enthusiast as well, kind of figured you were from the Watain avatar.

    Speaking of which:

    NP: Ossein - Declination

1.) Divinity Was Born Between Blue Wings (12:31)
2.) A Fool Sees Not the Same Tree That a Wise Man Sees (12:52)
3.) The Road to Awe (32:13)

Pretty good Experimental Black Metal/Ambient/Folk music, reminds me of mid-period Burzum, Ulver's Bergtatt, and demo era Agalloch. A very strange album though, raw as hell but fairly easy to listen to. I gotta throw on some Evilfeast next, he/they are quickly becoming my new favorite eastern/central European Black Metal band.

I listen to a lot of classic rock when I'm writing; other times I tend to break out the Dream Theater stuff.

I listened to The Vapors' first album "new clear days" today while I was folding my clothes, ah, the good old days.

You certainly figured correctly. You deserve credit for the obscurity of your Black Metal picks, since I've heard of them not.

Anaal Nathrakh isn't really obscure, they're very well known in the Metal underground. Graveland are one of the most recognized and controversial Black Metal bands in the world. Obscure Black Metal can be amazing, Sear Bliss for instance. It's the shitty one-man "bedroom & pro tools" Black Metal that sucks.

NP: Fleetwood Mac - Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac 1968

    Mmm, English Blues.
