Just because you might not watch the Winter Olympics, does not make them count any less.;)

Don't forget that there are in fact, Olympics every two years, but the Summer and Winter trade off, such that the same events are only repeated every four years.

Since Harry shares a piece of Voldemort's soul does that mean that he can't die either?

Alright, I just read chapter two so I think I have a better handle on this story.

I like it. Original concept, and so far damn good characterization for author-created Potter twins. They may be a tad too mary-sueish, but it's not bugging me yet.

Harry is in a horrible situation, but isn't all wrist-slashy, which makes me happy. BajaB's portrayal of Harry's capacity to cope has been quite satisfying.

    4/5 for me.

I don't think so. Dairy!Tom died when the dairy was destroyed.

Since Harry is a Horcrux piece, I'd say he'd be destroyed once he was killed. Only the 'main'/'focus' of the soul would return as the wraith type thing-o.

This was an okay chapter, not much for excitement but good character development. What I found so infuriating about the scoring wasn't the fact some judges gave Harry zeroes, but rather just one judge. The human judges I could understand, Karkaroff is a bitch, and the ministry is ignorant, but Maxime should know better, after all, she isn't completely human herself. I desire to see some Beauxbatons-bashing in the future.

Mmm, good story. Top shelf, etc. Its nice to see a story that amplifies the aspects of canon we can really get behind and hate (racism etc). Refreshing to see well done world-kicks-on-Harry too, especially because he doesn't seem likely to go grab a time-turner and spend several months in a magical chest to cry and power up to prove them all wrong.

That seemed like a terribly long sentence. -,-

Does anyone else get the feeling that Voldemort is going to be terribly interested in keeping one of his Horcruxes safe and sound? Especially a powerful, living, thinking Horcrux that manages to avoid dying often?

4/5, to be 5/5 if it gets longer and stays quality.

I was there, it was awesome beyond words.

While obviously not fair, it's very believable. Usually when you are in a low social status, [when not by choice anyway,] you try to get ahead and try not to be seen with people at the same or lower social status.

Especially when you consider her behavior in GoF.

    " 'Alf-giant? Moi? I 'ave - I 'ave big bones!"

Not generally a response given by someone confident enough to fight against discrimination, much less a battle for someone else.

As for the story.. The second chapter's followed the first nicely. The ending being my favorite scene so far. What a cool way to sum up how bigoted the wizarding world is. Still eagerly looking forward to updates!

Having Harry Golem absorb the other parts of V. soul might make for a good twist..... Or not.

I thought the chapter had Harry as too whiney, Your mileage may vary.

Well, the next chapter is out, but what I read was rather disappointing. This story is slowly degrading I'm afraid.

The author is forcing this hatred towards Harry way too much. Lines like "and nobody wanted Harry to be there" would make sense if he'd have written how Harry could see in the eyes or faces of everyone the disgust or hatred and then decide that he isn't wanted there, but not simply throwing it out of nowhere just for the sake of the angst ridden character.

Another thing is, and perhaps that is as well part of the problem above, that while reading it felt like the story is too rushed. It looks to me that the author actually wants to finish it or get to the point he wanted to actually write since the beginning, but he does it a bit too fast. The story feels like a one shot fic where the plot line is making huge jumps in the time frame so the characters could grow older and wiser until the point where the author can use them in a way which was impossible to do with the original characters.

The only thing that can save this story as it is now... actually there are two things that can save it but unfortunately both are very unlikely to happen. The first is if Harry actually joins Voldemort, because there is simply no other way for him to avoid ending in a multiple jars in the Department of Mysteries after the end of the tournament, except for hiding in the muggle world and in another country.

And the second of course is if the story becomes a Harry/Fleur one, but that is even less probable than Malfoy giving the golem a friendly hug.

I'd have thought Baja would pair Harry either with Hermione, or less probably, Ginny.

Then came the final scene. It's extremely unlikely, but this may turn out to be Harry/Fleur after all.

I agree with you though, that he is trying too hard to paint a 'Whole world against Garry' scenario. But the fic still makes for a good read, IMO.

So I wonder, would that make this one Guer?

I'm enjoying it. Everyone blaming Garry for
    Gabby's death
was a bit over the top, but believable in that the wizarding world just loves to dumb shit on people instead of actually thinking for themselves. Now I just need to remember to watch for the updates. >>

He was a cow animagus and he died in a barn fire. He deserved it.

And lo, the lactose intolerant masses breathed a collective sigh of relief, for no longer would they be subjected to the terror his calcium-rich fluids had wreaked upon their sensitive digestive tracts.

In the end, all it took was the destruction of a single barn to finish 'He-Whose-Teats-Must-Not-Be-Pulled'.

Wait... Something ain't right here.

    Story was updated 12-7.

I saw the title and passed over it back when I first saw it. I thought it would be just another Mary-Sue teacher who helps Harry defeat Voldemort. I was pleasantly proved wrong.

This is a great story. Interesting idea. BajaB usually writes fics that I like and she(?) didnt disappoint.
