You do realize that if it were 2 seconds it would practically be impossible right? This God Pein we're talking about. A high ranking ninja of Sanin strength. so it makes sense that he was given 5 seconds interval.

These two ran away because he didn't want to make any ruckus yet, secondly, i highly doubt even Itachi would stand a chance against a hordes of highly trained anbu.

Also, the fight betwee Tsunada is going to be on her favor because she knows his powers so it better prepares her for the battle. It's going to be an aswome fight! Can't wait.

He was already dead, too late to get healed i'm guessing.

 

A couple things about this chapter:

1. It's not five seconds. It's five ninja seconds. Kishimoto had an oops! moment and said something stupid. Disregard it if that helps you. The recharge is obviously closer to 1 second than to 5 - just go with that.

2. Kakashi is still obviously coming back. They would have confirmed his death straight up if he wasn't. He'll have a Jiraiya "oh my heart started beating again" and a Pain "wtf I really need to start ripping people's hearts out, this is getting ridiculous" moment, and that will be that.k

3. Konan is gonna have to choke a bitch.

4. Tsunade is in some serious shit right now. I can't say that she'll flat out lose to Deva Realm, but frankly I don't see her surviving this arc with Danzou waiting in the wings. It seems rather clear that he'll be making a move to become the Hokage in the near future, and if Kakashi is going to survive then Tsunade is surely going to die.

 

If Kishi is going to keep Chouza alive then he will most certainly keep Kakashi alive.

I think he will live. If he DOES die then I give big kudos to Kishi, cause I don't think he has the balls.

Susanoo and Amaterasu, nuff said.

As for Tsunade; Both Jiraiya and Orochimaru were capable of some nasty shit with there summons. I don't see any reason why Tsunade won't be able to turn herself into a half slug/half human hybrid of destruction.

 

This is the guy who killed off the old hermit. lol so yea, i'm pretty sure he has the ballz. And the two eye techniques would be only used at the most significant of times. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't waste those powerful techniques, and the deterioration of his eyes on a bunch of nameless anbu as well as kakashi.

 

The "old hermit" wasn't a main character like Kakashi is. He was slightly more important than Asuma, as in he was disposable. Kakashi is a fan favorite and I just don't think it will happen anytime soon. It would be bad ass if he dead.

As for Itachi; he would use them if he was about to lose, hence he would crush them.

 

Are you serious?? I'm pretty sure that the old guy was a fan favorite by many. Probably more so then Kakashi. Not to mention the fact that there was a huge explosion of pissed off fans when he died.

And, "That" is the reason why Itachi ran. So there was no point in staying there fighting for no reason at all. So it makes sense that the two ran.

Umm...who's the old hermit? The 4 tails jinchchuriki is the only one I can think of and he was taken out by Kisame. And why would it be bad ass if Kakashi died?

I don't mean to nitpick, but I think we moved past Jiraiya being a hermit when we learned he was addicted to titty bars and hookers.

The better translation would be sage.

And remember that the only opinions that matter to Kishimoto are those belonging to the fangirls who actually pay for the manga, so characters like Sasuke, Itachi, and Kakashi are certainly popular.

Thankfully that didn't stop him from killing Itachi and making both Sasuke and Kakashi look like absolute shit in the face of their betters recently.

 

Jiraiya has consistently ranked in the 10th-11th spot compared to Kakashi consistently ranking in the 1st-2nd spots and we all know the special treatment high ranking characters get from Kishi. Don't get me wrong, I hope Kakashi is dead. If he is then that means Kishi has grown some massive balls!

Jiraiya is a whole different story compared to ANBU. If they had tried to fight him both Itachi and Kisame would have died. If Itachi was faced with a dozen ANBU who had him surrounded and he was about to die all he would have to do is whip out his Mangekyo Sharingan. His Susanno keeps him impervious to attacks and Amaterasu can't be dodged (unless your Sasuke)

 

Or have Karin's akatsuki cloak.

 

Eh, Jiraiya isn't exactly friends with anybody. I'd call him a hermit. He just fucks women to get his jollies (and probably to distract him from his guilt). A sage is kind of... ya know, pious, scholarly or at least not a sex fiend. I actually find the translation of sage misleading and annoying... I like the Japanese term, since it encompasses both the ideas of hermit and sage.

Kakashi is a major character in the story, he isn't going to die after having a 1-page flash back. Kudos to Kishi for having a flashback (since it's a rule that characters have flash backs before they die, and he couldn't make him appear like he died without one), but he's not dead yet.

I personally think that Kakashi will be in intensive care for the remainder of Tsunade's death and Danzou's rise to power (thus explaining why the council doesn't elect him as Hokage -- Danzou will claim he's the only one capable of leading the country in a crisis). Kind of convinient (considering Kakashi's been in the hopsital for like 50 chapters of part 2 ...).

Naruto will return to a incredibly different Konoha.

 

whow there! First of all, Sasuke never dodged it. Itachi reduced the heat and controlled it just right so the black flames didn't consume Sasuke. If Itachi wanted to, he would have beat Sasuke pretty easily.

 

Do you have proof of this? I recall Itachi commenting how Sasuke used a technique of Orochimaru's to dodge the attack.

 

The simple fact is, in the story, Itachi fought and died for sasuke so why in the hell would he try and kill sasuke with the Amaterasu.
In this scan, it showed the last panel as an example of why Sasuke wasn't consumed by the black flames.

As Madara said so himself, if he was serious, he would have ended the fight.

I feel bad for Konoha. First Orochimaru attacks in part one causing a lot of damage and the death of Sandaime. Now, they have Pain single handedly reeking havoc all over the village and Tsunade has a decent chance of dying. After that they are going to have Sasuke and his team heading their way to destroy the village.
