    Fuller's Return to Heroes Confirmed
Source: The Hollywood Reporter December 3, 2008

"Pushing Daisies" creator/executive producer Bryan Fuller is close to a two-year overall deal with Universal Media Studios, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Fuller will rejoin the UMS-produced drama "Heroes," which he left after the first season to launch ABC/WBTV's "Daisies," and will develop new projects for the studio.

Fuller, who is wrapping post-production on the final episodes of "Daisies'" 13-episode second-season order, is expected to officially come on board "Heroes" starting with Episode 20.

His exact role on the sci-fi drama has not been determined, but he is expected to play a key role in the writers room alongside "Heroes" creator/executive producer/showrunner Tim Kring.

Thank God. After this season of epic fail they need all the help they can get. I just wish that Pushing Daisies wasn't canceled. It's a really great show!

I never watched Pushing Daisies, but I'm glad Fuller is back. He left around the end of season one; right after that the show went downhill. Hopefully he'll be able to return the show back to its former glory, if it was indeed him who made the show amazing in the first season.

RL eclipses lasts a few hours max. Depending on the type, it may only last a few minutes. It's not seen world wide the exact same way, also they showed the eclipse at times at a speed that it would of been over in seconds, yet it lasted the entire episode. There was one I think with Angela looking at it, and it was 1/3 of the way done and booking hard to the finish, yet 10 minutes later, it's still there, etc.

There is just one thing that's bugging me about Nathan and his flying ability. When he flies, it's pretty obvious he goes on mach speeds whenever there is a shock wave. How is it that he isn't ripped apart from the air pressure alone?? Not to mention Peter. And lets just say that Nathen can survive the harsh speed, but when Nathan carried Peter to find Haitian, the instant he flew, it was past mach speeds. Peter should have been torn to pieces, not to mention he didn't have any powers either.

Or am i just nitpicking here?

You have to suspend belief when it comes to explaining powers . If we're going to logically make sense of powers than Niki's super strength would have caused enough strain on her muscles to tear them, the Speedster would cause to much friction when running to wear out her shoes in a second (and her feet), Hiro would should technically be aging slightly faster than everyone else, and the fire guy would not have needed to be pulled out of a burning building (since fire shouldn't hurt him).

Nathan's clothes at least should be toast from the friction, not to mention he wouldn't be able to breathe.

I do want to see an episode where Nathan gets hit by a goose, lol. Points for Top Gun reference.

Soooo... did anyone else think that this last episode was significant (other then for the really obvious reasons)?

I'm thinking that the cut that Peter got near the end of the episode turns out to be that scar that we saw on Future Peter. Wouldn't this indicate that the future that he is working to stop is happening because of his efforts?

The cut Peter recieved at the end was on the side of his face not the middle like F!Peter. Honestly I have no idea what's going on right now. The first half with Hiro and Claire was great. But the last 10 minutes ruined the episode for me. What was the point of having Sylar turning good then turning evil again? What exactly is the catalyst I just saw bright, pretty lights.

He wrote the best episode of the first season (IMHO) called "Company Men". And check out Pushing Daisies, it's really good! (He also created Wonderfalls and Dead Like Me.)

    oops, my bad.

So is the catalyst gone know that the vessel has a bullet through the brain? Can they replicate what ever it was that Arthur P. added to the formula? The whole catalyst/light thing is a little weird. If the writers don't watch it, Heroes is going to more of a fantasy drama. The whole solar eclipse thing taking away the powers was a bit fail, next they be saying that the reason that only some people have abilities is because they were born when Mars was in Scorpio.

Could Hiro possibly be a bigger fuckup? He lost his half of the formula in about 10 seconds... Then he swore to his mother--on her death bed, no less--that he'd protect the shiny light thingy, and it took him about 30 seconds to lose *that*.

Based on the mathematical progression, he might go all of about a minute in his next quest before he shits the bed. It's no wonder his Dad punked him out, that dude could fuck up a wet dream...

Hiro definitely sucked ass but can someone please explain to me how the dad knew just where to go in time? There are infinitely many time periods, how did the dad know that one was it?

I did like Hiro's mom though, and I wish she got more screen time than she did. I preferred her healing power over Lindermans, and seemed more sincere. The catalyst seemed retarded, as I thought it was in the blood, but yeah it's gone now once Dad died. But they did make a huge batch of the formula. Enough for 14 more people if I recall, Ando hopefully being one of them, and mostly likely Peter and Hiro getting their powers back. Probably Suresh will get one as well.

Not to mention he could have teleported back to the future when Arthur appeared instead of screaming that he would save the cheerleader. Seriously, she can't die, and Arthur already has her ability. Unfortunatly Hiro is still thinking like a comic book hero out to save everyone.

Well she actually can die, since Arthur can take her power, and then push her off the building, but the talking was unnecessary, and he's always so slow to use his powers.
Also doesn't this cause a continuity error since Sylar did state something was special about Claire? I guess they'll use this to further the plot next season, but christ I'm getting tired of Claire being special. Only thing special about her is her abnormal stupidity.

I always thought that it changed the future, so in reality Sylar never said she was special, but if time really did splinter off like that, what would be the repercussions? Can anyone remember anything important that happened because Claire was 'special'?

Sylar going after her with Elle, inadvertently leading to a retarded death.

Look at the name, it should be obvious.
Arthur absorbed Peter's power which allowed him the ability to time travel. Peter had absorbed Isaac's powers which allowed Arthur to view the future, thus he knew exactly where Hiro was.

I thought this episode was definitely the best one of the season. The scene between Masi Oka and his mom was wonderful. Probably one of the best scenes Heroes has ever had. Sylar going to being a badass just fucking ruled. Cake, LOL! Him taking care of Arthur the only way he knew how to was even better. I'm not sure about this Super Soldier Serum thing, or Nathan taking leadership of Pinehearst, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

Future vision Philly not past vision... unless he time travelled waaaaaaay back and painted the future-past...

And since when has the Haitian had trouble blocking powers because of how 'strong' they were? He had no problems blocking Future!Peter.

Isaac painted this past happening in his future comic book. It's a fucking paradox, but it does work.
