You know, I hadn't even thought about Hermione and Dumbledore fitting the bill. The whole love potion and Obliviation thing happened so long ago (for the reader) that I'd forgotten that it was only the previous summer for Harry, and Bungle was just a few months' time, leaving him back at the castle in October, still unhappy about Hermione, Ginny and Mrs. Weasley.

And by the way, I was also sad that Moody died, as he and Kwan are really good at "motivating" Harry (read: kicking his ass), but we still have Kwan. And as for chapter 9, with Harry wanting to joke about three guys at a table but only four legs between them... that made me laugh out loud, which is never good when you happen to be at work, and your job includes very few laughs.

Obviously you are unfamiliar with this word... which makes me wonder why you didn't just, oh I don't know, check the fucking story in order to get the spelling right, rather than just make a wild guess.

 

Anyway, Jbern, wonderful story. As for the latest chapter it felt rather abrupt and rushed. The Baba Yaga storyline felt as if you didn't care much for it and it was more a means to an end in finishing this story in a relatively quick manner. The humor was, per usual, done very well. Still not loving the 1st person perspective but the storytelling continues to make me read. Hope the kid's well.

And time to go back to lurking.

 

Agreed....More murdering, Goblins are fun to watch die, maybe even a little "action" with Hermyfunbags just for shits and giggles (and the greater good)
