I still don't think Konoha will be destroyed. In fact, I don't even think Tsunade will die at the hand of Pein. Danzou has to be exposed as a traitor or a deserter or what ever well you want to call him, so I think it is a decent plot device to have Danzou be the one to finish Tsunade of.

Meh, I haven't really thought it through how it will come to be yet.

I have to wonder if Tsunade has any edge from the intell gathered from the Pein they have in the morge. That electrical disruption might work well against the charkra transmitters, but she'd have to touch "god" Pein first. I don't see that happening.

I can see Danzo killing Tsunade, but only if Pein breaks her completely first. And even then, if her summon sees it happen the slugs might reverse summon her like the toads did Naruto?

Oh lawd. Chapter 428 is out.

Konohamaru is fail and so is Naruto for teaching him.

It's annoying to see all these elite ninja getting hammered by the Six Paths of Pain and yet have an inexperienced genin get a solid hit on one of them. But I'm still hoping for a Pain smackdown on Tsunade.

Even just rough her up a little bit and I'll be a happy camper.

Oh wow wasn't this supposed to be a really difficult move to learn, taking countless years to master? I was hoping Konohamaru would of used some awesome monkey jutsu from his family, not some half assed overused move.

Will he even fight her now that he knows where Naruto is?

I wished that konohamaru bit was a fake spoiler. :(

err...you do realize that it has been 3 years right? it took him 3 long years to fully learn it and he still didn't get it fully right since he is using one of the shadow clones to do it faster.

I liked the notes at the bottom of page 17. "Pain is violent"

    Yeah, no shit *facepalm*

Hell Pain getting hit by a rasengan was all part of God's will. Think nothing of it. He doesn't lose, he just decides not to win :p

Human Pain actually acted like a ninja by sneak attacking. Win right there.

It took three years for the Yondaime to create. It took Jiraiya a couple of months to learn, and it took Naruto a couple of weeks.

EDIT: Pain's powers follow a pattern; the Rinnegan allows him to excel at all aspects of... ninjaology. Plural Summons, Soul sucking genjutsu, flying arm taijutsu, gravity repulsion instead of speed/power... get where I'm going?

Did anyone else love that Pain finally lost his cool this chapter?

Dude is seriously pissed that Tsunade is willing to put the lives of all of her ninja behind Naruto's.

And this after Pain made a point of wrecking the town.

    Quick thing though:

Did anyone else notice that despite fighting so many ninja, Pain didn't actually finish most of them off?

I get the feeling he was trying to show Konoha the futility of opposing him without actually going on a murderous rampage (don't get me wrong, I'm sure a decent number of people did die in the collateral damage).

Unfortunately for him, Tsunade is as stubborn as hell and also has a mass healing technique.

It's revealed that Pain is really some guy somewhere puppteering all this. Feels like a cop out. Though it could be interesting, depends who's controlling him in Konoha. My bet's on Obito (just because he didn't turn out to be Tobi).

Konohamaru bit was lame, too. Can't anybody defeat anyone without using Rasengan? Half expecting Sakura to use it next.

And mind reading techniques? Seriously... Pain can do anything except maybe Sexy Jutsu (and he doesn't need it, since he has Konan anyway).

We knew this a long time ago.

And by the way, Ino's theory that someone nearby is controlling Pain is obviously false.

First of all, Ino knows shit about ninjutsu.

Second, Pain has been projecting his chakra around the world since he was introduced. The idea that he can't be far away is absurd.

This is the guy who channels the chakra of eight other Akatsuki members who are spread across the world into the bijuu sealing technique that he's not even present at.

This is the guy who launches Kisame's and Itachi's chakra from wherever the hell they are to River Country where Sasori's minions are for the Shouten Clones.

All this while sitting in a tower in Rain Country.

No, this chapter didn't change anything about how Pain Rikudou works.

And she knows shit about Pein as well my friend...:). It's pretty much a given now that Nagato is sitting in a cozy cave in Ame, while his puppets fuck around with Konoha, irrespective of what Ino (or anyone else in the manga for that matter) says.

And the Rasengan from Konohamaru didn't really bother me. It looks like it has been 3 years since he learned it and it was not even properly constructed. He was using a KB the way Naruto used one to do the Oodama Rasengan. Obviously, his control sucks...

Wonder if Pein will head to Myoubokuzan. It'll take him a month to get there and by then Naruto will be back in Konoha...so Pein will go around asking the toads, "Is Uzumaki Naruto here or is he not?"...

The point is, whether Ino had it wrong or not isn't her fault. Even her father agreed with her, even came up with his own theory about that.

Anyway, you guys wonder how strong Naruto might get after the "impossible" training?

Very much so. In my mind, this chapter pretty much destroyed any possibility of Naruto successfully changing Pain. He's basically solidified his status as the Anti-Naruto which is a good thing.

I'd probably place Naruto well and above Sasuke after all this senjutsu training.

...I can imagine the humor fics now. One where Pain goes all around the world asking people, "Is Naruto here?" "Who?" "No, sorry." "Do you mind? I'm eating here."

Well, it sounds funny in my mind.

That would actually be quite funny. And Naruto doesn't know that he has someone trying to track him down. Where ever Naruto goes, destruction follows since Pein does his "own" way of doing things. lol While Naruto is oblivious to it all.

Doesn't matter, one genjutsu and its all over.

Any way it could be Konan with the control? She does seem to have the same peircings.

Kishi has already shown us that jinchuuriki can dispel genjutsu with demon chakra, and now that KillerBee's rogue...

We will probably have to sit through another training arc where Naruto learns to be uber with the Kyuubi like he is with Sage Mode and Rasengan.

    God damn it.

Hey, even if that happens, at least it won't be another Sasuke arc...

Ugh. I puked a little in my mouth. Kage Bunshin and Rasengan? Original much, Kishimoto? Where is your fucking genius, why don't you try creating some new jutsu for once? =p

Meh, I don't believe Hell Realm is dead. I just can't believe it >_>'

Naruto is so utterly ridiculous anyways, you can just start dropping your brain and enjoy the show :/
