I miss these types of summarys... That was epic lulz

But personally I liked the scenes with the dad. He was a shining star in a sea of crap.

And the gun scene was awesome... The rest of themovie sucked but the dad was pretty awesome.

Thank you for this. My boyfriend dragged me off to see the movie since misery loves company (he was forced to take his sisters). I brought my phone and we laughed our asses off reading this during the movie and even when we had finished it; we couldn't stop laughing. Of course we were almost mauled by rabid fangirls but it was worth it.

If only I had seen this thread before going to the cinema! I was forced to chaperon my 13 year old cousin and 8 of her friends and how sad for me that they chose Twilight.

I alternated between laughing and crying at the complete stupidity of the movie. I was then set on by my cousins friends, who took to kicking me in the balls. Last time I EVER take my cousin to the movies, and it turned out later that her brother had known what the movie was about and made sure I'd be chaperoning, so I broke his nose, which was the highlight of my day.

...I thought it was sort of funny. *shrug*

Anyways, one of my best friends (a girl) loves the books, and she said that I had to read them before I could say anything about them.

I did, and I have to say that they weren't anywhere near as bad as the movie (which was gag-worthy). The second book is devastatingly boring with all its angsty whine-fests (then again, so is the second HP book...), but the other three were amusing. I like romance, though, and most people on this forum don't share that preference. Don't read them unless you do, as you will get bored QUICKLY.

And, just to tell you, that synopsis was spot on. Everything it made fun of actually happened (besides the fact that Bella DID like the truck her father got her). But, as said, I could pull the same satiric crap out of the first HP book if I wanted to. Suspension of disbelief is important to reading any fantasy, so you can't pick up a book looking for all the problems. If you are going to read them, then you need to go into it with an open mind.

It appears I'm not the only one who was forcibly dragged to see Twilight. My girlfriend wanted to see this, and when I first told her no, she threatened me with no sex, so I had to >.<.

And I have to agree with the above poster. The books were slightly better than the movie.

Damn, people call me Fabio for having a pony tail and insinuate that I'm gay on a daily basis in some form or another, yet I still could not bring myself to read these books or watch the movie. Kyle even says they are decent -though he always was the real fag.

    As did I.

Anyway, what's funny is that I'll visit review sites where people get to vote with whether or not they liked the movie. Some movies I thought were decent get like 25 percent of people liking them... While Twlilight has somewhere near 50% approval...

Also the HP TWILIGHT Harry Edward Slash invasion has begun. To the battlements.

Being a teenager, the main focus of this book is actually my classmates. Or rather, classmates in my chorus class, and people I hang out with, sometimes, when all my good friends are busy. Anyway, Snarf, if you found being compared to Fabio annoying, people constantly say I look like this "Jacob" guy.
