Planescape Torment is, of course, another incredible RPG in its own right and easily in the same league as Baldur's Gate.

Well...it updated, but I dont know what to think. Nothing much happened except a conversation between Harry and Snape, and sex.

I believe that it says a chapter or so before he goes to Russia that Luna has a MAJOR problem with it.

Nah, that's small time. You want revenge for everything, have Harry give Dumbledore and his soul to Baba Yaga for something or other. Slowly having your soul devoured by an evil while knowing thats the END of you, no heaven or hell just oblivion, that is far nastier. Plus to add insult you make sure to tell Albus that selling his soul for Baba's services is for the greater good. Although the ol' bastard might forgive you if you do that.

 

I'm actually hoping for an immortal!Harry/Baba Yaga ending.

Here's an idea for Harry becoming an imortal, during his cursebreaking expiditions Harry finds that mystical spring and the immortal witches guarding it from the 3rd Mummy movie. You can see where this is going- Harry has a mother/daughter threesome in the pool of imortality.

 

Have to say that this chapter seemed a bit of a downer compared to your usual stuff. Too much low action bad shit happening within a scene that appears to be no longer than a couple of hours spent walking, talking and posturing as well as a lack of decisiveness that he usually follows things through with.

 

Now that opened quite a lot possibilities and on all fronts too.
I can see where this can go, but JBern will probably surprise us again.

Good chapter, now only get patience somewhere to wait for next one.

When I first started Bungle, I wanted to make a bastard Dumbledore that would be the standard which other bastard Dumbledores would be held up to.

From the reaction for this chapter, I'm getting close to achieving my goal. Most evil bastard Dumbledore stories fall a little flat as SuperDuperIDon'tNeedNoStinkingHelp Harry constantly outwits the old coot's progressively more desperate manuevers.

I don't want to do that. I want Harry to have to work to outmanuever Dumbledore and not always win the point.

Instead of meekly accepting that he is going to die as a result of destroying the ring horcrux and making certain that ickle Draco can be redeemed, this Dumbledore is trying to best tie up those last pesky loose ends before he moves on to his next adventure.

If a few people's fragile egos get broke along the way...well, it was for the greater good.

She very much does mind, but she's also being an unreasonable and irrational pain in the fucking ass... so fuck her.

At this point, I really don't give a rat's ass what this Luna does. Really, with the clutching, bitchy way she's been acting towards the ONLY person who has gone out of their way to even so much as befriend her, I wouldn't even blink if she pulled off her face, a la Mission Impossible, and we found out she was Ginny all along.

Frankly, I find Harry/Manipulated into betraying Harry for his own good but now repentant!Hermione waaaay more interesting than Harry/bipolar!Luna any day of the week. This Luna is a psycho ex-girlfriend in the making. She's the reason prenups exist. Granted, this Harry is a virtually unrepentant manwhore, but some of it can be blamed on his circumstances.

Rape by proxy is in the playbook of any truly heinous Manipulative Bastard (particularly the pious, self-righteous, greater-good types).

I hope Harry reports the old dick to the aurors. That would be worth a few yucks.

Fact is, unless Albus has Harry over a king-sized barrel, this was a terribly bold move to be making, considering he was not only complicit in two rapes, but also a potential magically-forced impregnation. Every chapter makes me want to see him eat his own teeth just that much more.

And considering he was more than likely behind Pansy's attack on Hermione, you can add some Unforgivables-by-Proxy into the mix.

Fuck that shit, he's not doing anything with that shriveled old dick anyway. Not unless he's been making trips to Nurmengard for conjugal visits 'off-screen'.

My thoughts exactly. Place your bets, will Kreacher end up with his head on the wall before even delivering the goods, or will he capture Pansy, only for her to use her Liquid Luck to wreak even more havoc upon the good (and not so good) guys?

And now for my token correction: As amusing as this sentence is, it's not a sentence. The quickest fix would be changing it to:

JBern, I was very surprised that you had Harry sleeping with Hermione, although I do understand it was under the influence of a potion. I do believe she'll provide the blood of a repentent liar, and I think it was especially poignant that Hermione, who never fit in in the Muglle world, says she's "beginning to despise the magical world".

And does anyone wonder why Snape didn't warn Harry? Maybe Pomfrey added the love potion or whatever it was, independent of Snape. Then again, Snape would find it highly amusing that those two ended up in bed after all their history, so maybe it was him after all. Oh, and of course Tonks was in on it, or she'd have at least checked on Hermione during that time.

My guess is that Hermione will not be pregnant, although that may just be wishful thinking. I wonder how Ron will take the news, as he's dating Lavender but his attraction to Hermione was the reason Harry was switched to Ginny back at the beginning of Bungle.

Anyway, nice chapter even though it was short. I very much look forward to the new chapters of TML and TLIL.
