Hey guys & gals.

So, I've been running through page after page after endless page of Deviant Art work for a few days now and outside of a few funny ones, or good ones that have already been saved, I'm having trouble finding any jaw droppingly awesome fan art.

I've not looked for any sites to be honst, but I don't see any sites having the kind of art/picures I'd like really. See, the pictures in my head that I'd love are things like Harry from certain stories, or scenes, or other characters from fanfiction.

For example, I'd love to find good artwork of any of these;

- Harry as 'The Dark Knight' from the Stranger series
- Harry from Joe's Wastelands, in a suit, I can just see him with a knowing smirk on his face as he looks at his watch, suitcase in hand strolling down some cobbled street.
- Harry!Joker from Denial and Deception's 'Dark Knight!Harry Potter' story. Ok, so there's a few of Harry like this, but none really... menacing
- Jbern's Harry, from either story, though the 'Bungle' universe would be preferably. Hell, maybe the whole gang. Harry, Bill, Kawn and Bill.
- Azkaban Harry. Shezza's Harry from 'Resistance' would be a stunning piece I think, in a fight with Aurors and Death Eaters alongside characters like Ron, Jordan and Kingsley. Ultimate chaos.
- Azkaban Harry; again. Similiar to the Joker Harry, a Harry left to rot in Azkaban, or who escapes, or who was released. Again, so many pieces of awesome art could be made from fanfiction.
- Denarian Harry - Come on, who wouldn't want a pic of Harry rolling his eyes while Meciel teases him, maybe Hellfire in hand, Bone Wings arched overhead?

Yeah, it's a lot and now I probably seem like a nutter, but hey, I like good fanfiction, but I love good fanart too! Just a student looking for a few pictures, drawing, whatever's. Not asking for anyone to do any work, just asking if any of you know any good sites, or pictures that you yourself enjoy?

Ok, so I 'want this and that' it's all very specific and would require someone to read the stories to get a feel for the character(s), but i'm not fussed. Just looking for some good art outside of young Hogwarts goody-goody Harry. DLP has corrupted me into enjoying a twisted Harry, who while having a tiny sense of righteousness, or a good soul, still has a dark side, or another side to him that's constantly changing.

Ah well, sorry for sounding like a nut, or perhaps not the mindset you'd expect for DLP, but hey! It's worth a shot.

Found a Denarian Harry, it's not very good though. I can't recall any point in time where he had red hair, and I see no scar >_>.

 

All I can say to that image is... Good try. I agree though that I have seen no real quality images of HP or any of the characters from that universe and would really appreciate if someone could point some out to me.

 

I had a reader ask permission to do some fanart of Dagger and Rose some time ago. She specifically asked to do Harry/Luna and Fleur/Draco at the ball (Harry and Fleur watching each other), Harry facing down the Horntail, and one of the scenes of Harry and Fleur in the maze (I forget which). I never heard whether she completed anything though--most likely, she lost interest.

Jeconais's White Knight, Grey Queen has embedded fanart that's decent, save the artist got Pansy's eye color wrong. There's also some artwork in his story This Means War (which, given that it's Harry/Ginny, isn't DLP fodder).

 

A big bag of weed, with a nice big bong sitting beside it.

 

I haven't really done anything in the HP universe in awhile, but if given permission by some of the author's, I would give a few of them a shot.

What's in it for you...? The, umm... satisfaction that you helped a fellow DLP'er? ^^; *shrugs* I'll see what I can dig up out of the back garden in that case.

Herry - Woah ^^. The Denarian piece I'd seen before and just thought 'meh' that's awesome! I was thinking someone would link a kind of, well, realistic looking tablet drawn picture, but that's pretty much what I had in my mind. Just... wow ^^ *saves it*

I made fanart for one my own stories out of boredom and posted on DeviantArt.

I learned several things about photomanipulation, but don't see myself doing it again.
