I have to say that I agree with almost all the complaints about this fic that you guys have recently posted. I do have to say that even given that I still really like this fic. I have been lossing interest recently with the long wait between updates. Looking forward to the next update.

 

Just been updated, for once the chapter is a reasonable length, although it is riddled with errors and typos, obviously it was put up as soon as it was finished, without being checked over at all.

Content wise, its interesting enough, moves the plot along a wee bit, we finally see something getting done about the problem Rahkesh has with casting magic.

 

Basicaly she has made Namach a immortal all powerful vampire verison evil manipulative Dumbledore. With the individual city masters as Minerva, Moody, Kingsley and the rest of the order. The rest of the vampires and the more educated other races are like the rest of magical Britain in the books. The demons are Voldemort and his death eaters. Daray is Ron, Silas is Hermoine, the rest of the family is he Weasleys.

Despite all the (often justified) criticism everyone has posted, I do like this story. Yes, the time between updates is too long and some of the ideas are ridiculous, but it's still one of the most original fanfictions out there - despite the recent filler chapters. It's probably made worse by the lack of updates. After the story is finished, you'll just read over it and maybe be slightly annoyed because there's no action, but that will be all.

As for the most recent chapter: I absolutely hated the idea of creating a second Earth in some uber-realm. I've never liked this cloning idea, but now the author has pushed it to the extreme. And why, WHY! had it to be Rahkesh who came up with it? He doesn't know much about it in the first place, so why not let some other genius see the light? Maybe Namach or just anybody, but not Rahkesh!

 

I think the most recent chapter is lacking and not as good as I hoped for. The errors that bother other people so much, really don't bother me so I thought it was okay in that way for me. I am conflicted over the copying the earth idea,so I will wait to see how it is done to pass judgement. This update came faster than what they have been recently so I hope she is getting back to the two chapters a month like she used to. I also hope we get back to the action soon.

 

Likely not cause if memory serves its about time that she apparently goes to work out in the field with little if any internet and she doesnt write at all while shes out there.

 

I AGREE THAT THE CHAPTER WAS LACKING. I COULD SEE HIM SUGGESTING THE SUB WORLD THO, HE'S STILL NIAVE SOMETIMES.

OTHER WISE, IT IS STILL A GOOD PIECE OF FANFICTION TO ME. I THINK SHE HAS A GREAT IMAGINATION FOR SOME OF THE THINGS SHE HAS CREATED. ALSO ISN'T THIS SECOND PART OF THE SERIES SUPPOSED TO END IN A CHAPTER OR 2?

 

You really don't have to shout you know, its not at all a requirement.

 

Namach hinted earlier in the story that Rakeash's (however thats spelled) bloodmagic showed among other things, large scale warding like what is used for Akren.

As far as increased updates, she usually speeds them up around the winter time up until spring then they are sporadic.


Has the Death Dragon been confirmed as another animagus form?

 

I think that she's confirmed in an author's note that his third form isn't a Death Dragon, though that only leaves us wondering what could possibly be more uber than the most uber thing yet mentioned in this story.

Personally I think she should throw us a curve ball and make the third form something completely outrageous, like a magical starfish or something.

Even better, it could be just a regular old rock-sucking starfish.

 

I say its a phoenix. The exact opposite of elves death Dragons. Hell wouldnt doubt it if Namach has a Death Dragon hidden around somewhere.

The way Namach is acting series will probably end with Harry kicking his ass somehow but he has managed to become better at bloodmagic than the guy who more or less invented and and has been around what 3000 years?

Im thinking that he becomes a Namach!animagus. Would explain the hesitancy on the part of the lord of the vampires, and well if one can become a demon without becoming a demon then why not?

 

Ok well she said at the start of this chapter that someone had finally guessed what he turns into, last chapter no one had guessed so it had to be in a review from last chapter (or possibly a email but I hope not)

So I just read through all the reviews of last chapter and looked for ideas that hadnt come up before.

Options are:

* A elf animagus form. Never mentioned before but pretty retarded and not very logical.

* A creature like cotl (winged snake, like Quetzelcotl) would fit his snake pet and parselmouth thing but seems a little tame.

* An arch angle (angles have never been mentioned apart from dark angles, although if there is dark you'd think there is light)

* A tarrasque, no idea what this is and cant be bothered looking it up.

* A couatl, leviathan, or some sort of elemental/god to have the elves freaking.

* A nidhogg (No idea what it is again)


* A lich (Although I think this was mentioned before and is thus unlikely)

* Naga

* Lamia (no idea)

So it apparently has to be one of them. Quetzelcotl seems to be the front runner at the moment, its also a mix of his current two ones and apparently a symbol of death as well.

 

A lamia is unlikely. It's some sort of snake hybrid and Rahkesh already has a basilisk animagus form.
He's just not nice enough for an archangel form, in my opinion.
An elf animagus would be dumb, I agree.

 

Nidhogg is a gigantic snake in FF12 (one of the marks you hunt down), but I don't know about any legends or myths featuring one. I guess we'll find out about the new form whenever she sees fit to write it.

 

Actually, I'd like it to be something relatively innocuous, like a fox, a dog, or an owl. That would be a *useful* alternative shape, since he already has these huge, obviously powerful forms. Something fast and quiet and stealthy would be a nice option in many situations.

It would be fun if it were a sea creature, like a seal or orca - but he's never been attracted to the water. Please don't let it be a songbird (like I read in another story,) that's just weird.

 

Well, a tarrasque is a DnD beast, a gigantic lizard like creature, with almost zero intelligence and the inability to speak. They are so stupid that they lack the mental capacity to chose between good and evil.

I would say that there is a possibility its the angel option, but I can't see Rahkesh being representative of all thats good and holy. He's more grey than light or dark.

The possibility of him turning into some sort of ancient elemental creature is possibly the most likely. It would fit with the way the character has been developed, and it would possibly scare the elves, if for instance it had an inbuilt resistance to magic meaning they couldn't kill it with a thought.
