Mildly interesting but not good enough for the library.

The lack of updates and her need to live up to cannon is annoying but i find myself liking the plot. Voldemort tries to take control of harry and has no wish to repent and turn away from his evil ways.

3/5 and the fic could become enjoyable if developed

 

I really, really like this concept. Harry's soul actively competing with Tom's, constantly, for control of his body, and essentially, survival.


The writing is decent, even if she's only managed to write 5 chapters in two years. What I really look forward to is how both Harry and Tom are changed by the time their situation is resolved. In that respect, at least, this fic has tons of potential.

 

In the authors notes she says she started writing it in '04.

11k words in fours years followed by over a year with nothing, even though she says she intends to finish it she also lists three other stories she's going to finish first.



I do like the concept, I think it could make a wonderful story but frankly I highly highly doubt this story will ever see another chapter, were it longer or being updated I'd consider it better but as it is 2.5/5.

 

2,500 words per year? Color me impressed.

I would like it but for the melodramatic tone, the dashes occurring everywhere, and the Italicized emphasis when it isn't really merited. 3/5

 

It would be excellent, but for the fact that it takes the author so long to write.
