Can Naruto only draw natural energy while in Myobokuzan? If Ma and Pa can gather natural energy in Jiraiya vs. Pain in Amegakure, I can't see why clones couldn't gather the energy right there at Konoha...hidden of course.

That was... pretty cool, actually. I actually enjoyed that chapter.

 

Wait I didn't understand what was going on. Why did Naruto need to reverse summon his clones? Couldn't he have dispelled them from afar and then have the natural energy go to him that way? Is that how it works the clones absorb, then dispel and the energy goes to Naruto right? and since he made 4 clones does that mean he was fighting with 1/4 of his energy?

 

actually he would have been fight with 1/4 of his total chakra as Kage Bushin splits the chakra evenly between clones. Yes ridiculous i know as we have seen Naruto make as many as 9000 clones at once =="

 

There could be a distance factor, more returning chakra the closer his clone is to his real body when dispelled etc.

 

You're forgetting that Naruto has a godly amount of chakra, so even if it is split into 1/4 or 1/9000 it still doesn't make much of a difference because he just has that damn much. As for the summoning, I would assume it has to do with the distance. Either they're too far away for him to get the chakra back quickly or it just can't be transmitted over that sort of distance.

 

I always thought that the reason that Naruto could make that many Kage Bunshin over and over was due to both his huge chakra store but also his accelerated healing which I believe would allow him to replenish his chakra faster than Kage Bunshin were wasting it.

 

I think a lot of you are forgetting that the clones can't communicate with one another mentally or anything like that. The clones sitting back at Myoubokuzan would have no way to know when they should dispel themselves if they weren't summoned or contacted in some other way.

The distance may play a factor as well, as others have stated. We don't know the mechanics of how the memories and chakra of a clone return to the original when it's dispelled. It could be instant, or it could take time to travel back, even if it is at a very high rate of speed.

One more thing: Naruto doesn't need the oil or to be at Myoubokuzan in order to gather natural energy so far as we know. He's sitting in front of the oil pool, but he's not using the oil from what we know. Most likely he left the clones back at the mountain so that Pain couldn't attack them during the fight.

 

Regardless, this reverse summoning is a genius idea. You could set up clones to retreat quickly by having one clone ready to reverse summon yourself to safety and the other one act as the signal to act when it dispells itself.

 

Might be time for Kyuubi me thinks.

Honestly, Naru/Hina foreshadowing all of a sudden after 400+ chapter made me want to rip out someone's trachea.

Since I can't do that to Hinata, Kishi is my only option.

 

The restrictions on Kage Bunshin wasn't homo, nope not at all, It's just Naruto's MAIN FUCKING JUTSU! D: I mean fuck. Why not just hand Naruto to Pain... Oh wai- He did. -_-
