Bit of a nitpicky point, but she can live an extended life, if she stays in her diamond form. Case in point is her daughter with Scott, Ruby, who (as her name implies) has a mutant power that allows her to take on a ruby-quartz form that doesn't require sustinence to survive. So she (Emma) is capable of meeting Logan during WWI/II (he wasn't around for the Civil War Jenkins; he was born in the 1880's :p) if she was born at an earlier point in the movie-universe timeline and recieved her diamond-ability naturally (and wasn't given to her like in the comics, but that's another nitpick).

My bad, one of the scenes just looked like a Civil War battle charge.

Back onto topic instead of flaming Oujou, has anyone read the full extent of the Wolverine Origins comics? I have the hardcover of his childhood/confrontation with Dog days but I only read a little further than that, even then only in bits and pieces.

Who is everyone aching to see done well? Gambit for me of course, I've been a fanboy since I first saw him all those years ago when I was rooting through my dad's old comics. The flashes of him in the trailer looks like he's kicking ass and all, so fingers crossed.

Creed/Sabertooth. Like I said, although the last guy (some wrestler) was a weak actor, at least he looks the part; this new guy looks like a jacked-up vampire henchman reject.

Liev's got the right face, but he needs long hair like Creed has had in most of the books.

And really, the old guy was better, they just mad him look retarded. Mane is freaking 6'8", prefect huge size for Sabertooth.

Adam Baldwin from Firefly is huge as well AND he can act.

Hell yeah. I can't remember anything Baldwin has done that I haven't loved.

Jayne, Casey, even Hamilton was pretty cool.

The only trouble is, Sabertooth is a character whom everyone hates. I seem to remember him being the only one to actually volunteer for their work, and Adam always makes his characters the kind you love. In the Special Features of Serenity, Joss said you were supposed to hate Jayne, but Adam made him lovable.

The main part I remember from the Firefly series is the crazy chick who is essentially a living weapon, if you do certain things right. Considering the type of crowd here at DLP, this is probably why most of them like it.

The show itself takes some time to get into it but it was a well done series, and for a tv show had some nice effects. The movie sucked balls imo, and ruined the feel of the show.

Ive seen the majority of it and I still dont get it. >_> Looks to me like just another Whedon spazzfest, but I didnt really like much of his other stuff either.

Farscape always seemed better to me. Browder was pretty epic in that.

Many people feel that way because the episodes were aired out of order for some retarded reasons. Because of this, the episode numbers on many downloads don't correlate to plot progression.

I had to match the names of the episodes with wikipedia descriptions (which are in the right order).

Midknight: Because it tries something at least kinda new. While space has been compared to the wild west in literature/film/tv shows quite a few times before, it's taken to an almost absurd level in Firefly. I mean, shit. Riding a horse onto a spaceship? Or, for that matter, robbing a train with a spaceship?

Plus the characters are just fucking fun.

I'm not saying it's the greatest show ever, but I can certainly see why some people are so fascinated by it.

I don't really know why I liked it so much. I can honestly say though that I've probably never been more disappointed when a TV series was canceled. I also wasn't a fan of Whedon's earlier works, although Dollhouse looks like it might be interesting.

Wolverine's gotten to be over the years kinda crappy to watch, he's predicatable as hell. Go berserker, kill everyone worth killing, say something smartass.

At least Deadpool would be a smartass, then do something totally weird back in the day. Used to love him =/

Fox, fucking up politics, and movies since XXXX!
