Well according to the Rinnegan theory I've created, he'd be sending his own spiritual energy into the corpses of Pain (who no longer have any/much since they're, well, dead) and combining it with the physical energy of the corpses.

He could just be sending a boatload of chakra though too.

Nagato's "wheelchair" has legs on it. He's not in Konoha, he's on one of the highest mountains surrounding the village.

Tsunade is out of chakra. Her fuuin tattoo is gone. In other words, she can't use it. She's completely out of the fight at this point.

 

Ah I didn't notice the tattoo was gone, but still even if Nagato's contraption has wheels, you're telling me no one notices a cyborg-esque man rolling into the Konoha area (or mountains around it)? He has to move nearby to wherever the Pain's go so I would think someone would of noticed. He would have to stick to main roads, since I can't imagine tree running in that contraption.

 

Dumb chapter is dumb. Is Naruto so easily swayed by Pain's words? Is Naruto so dumb he hasn't already considered this fact? From the beginning, we've been told that being a ninja is being a person who removes morality from their actions. They know of suffering and the suffering their actions cause, that their existence is for the selfish need of their own village.

It seems ridiculous that Naruto can't believe it when Pain tells him that he and him are the same. And if Naruto hesitates on attacking Pain after this chapter? Dumb. Classical shounen bullshit deus ex just to get around the fact the author can't have his protagonist fail without having some volition on the part of the character.

I will say that Pain's argument isn't bad, I kind of liked it, and you have to take into account they were both taught by Jiraiya only they both diverged on how to go about doing what Jiraiya wanted (that crap about understanding people).

 

The speech of doom could have failed more 'tis true, it was actually not as bad as some of Kishimoto's previous villainous monologues (insert Orochimaru here).

I love how Pein is no longer holding the sword down trapping Naruto's hands and Naruto just lies there listening in. He should have waited for Pein to get really into the rant then quietly walked off.

Also Nagato = Baal from Diablo 2! Anyone else see the resemblance?

He probably used his super-teleport-pokemon summoning jutsu to get to the mountain. Or he called a cab, or he flew on Southwest; it doesn't matter.

Judging from the Narutofan spoilers, Hinata just got murdered by The Pain.

Though I'm wondering why six-tails!Naruto suddenly has bones all over him.

The bones are a nice touch methinks, if he killed Hinata off I will go and do my happy dance.

 

I don't know, the bones look like something binding the Kyuubi, like something Pain did.

 

That's unlikely (to me) since it'll probably take the entire chapter for Naruto to reach the emotional stage he needs to change. That's likely the last or second last page. Pain, therefore, wouldn't likely be up for doing anything until the week after.

 

Let bad writing and plagiarism take it's course again. Bleach this time? Really? Gah. And then there is Hinata, who here thinks she'll really be dead. I don't, that much I'm sure of.

 

Loved how the bones show the manifestation of the Kyuubi slowing growing with every tail.

I don't think they will but If they ever killed of Hinata, it would start redeeming this manga for me.

 

As I said on ADD, the fangirls would absolutely try and murder him if he did that...
