I'm beginning to regret ever reading one of your stories..
Now, I compare all the stories I read to yours and they, of course, can't be compared so I just drop them and stop reading..

Jim, just finished HHH. Enjoyed it heavily, left a review on Amazon under my real name (It's the long one). You did a great job converting it to Kindle, BTW. No problems at all, and I hope you do it for your future stories.

Oh, and on topic? Aimee's not gonna be evil? Damn. And I also think TML should go on hold until you finish this up. It demands and ending!

This is in response to some questions about the aging potion, i was sitting randomly and thought of an idea that explains why it's taking so long.

What if it only ages a person equal to the amount of time it takes to brew the potion...

A pretty cool idea, but that would be a fan idea, in Gof Fred and George had an aging potion that let them age a view month (31.10-1.04...5 to sixth month) and they only knew about the tournament since September 1st, not enough time. But a good idea nonetheless.

Lie 21 is with editing. It will be up on Monday evening. It's a little over 10k.

In other news, the pdf version of the Gryphonwood anthology is available.

    http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/1219

Because my story is the first one and they have a 10 percent preview, you can read it in it's entirety. It's second person along the lines of Bungle, but it's a dark horror story. Just click the view sample.

As far as I know, I'm not making anything on this one - just one copy for my efforts and a "real" book in my hand with my name (among others) on the cover.

The price is $1.99, so throw it a couple of dollars, if you like. Hopefully, you'll think my story is worth that alone. There's some other good ones in there as well. I'm slowly working my way through the contributors copy.

Drop me a PM and let me know what you thought of the story.

Might be a problem. I'm still waiting on an edit from a beta. We'll see how it goes.

I just reread Lie and I must say that is truly is your masterpiece.

I think it could do without the ribbing against the French ;) but it is possible that I only say that because I am a bit bias, being French and all... The weirdest thing is that my sister's name is Fleur actually and she had the same complains about England when she lived there for two years.

I hope you get the chapter back from the beta soon.

Still planning on finishing Lie before going back to TML?

I don't suppose there's a chance of you posting the raw version and replacing it with the edited one later?

If not, no biggie. Back to waiting.

Like these old ads for cheese said, good things take time.

Now this may not be cheese but it's still worth waiting for.

Hopefully we won't have to wait quite as long as for cheese.

    I like cheese.

I have to admit jbern I've always been a little curious as to why you don't use the Work by Authors section as a 'beta'?

One thing I wanted to ask about the previous chapter was Athena, she also took part in the bet prior to the Dragon challenge but it was only Fleur and Harry who had to serve Viktors guests. Will she have to discharge her bet on a separate occasion? If so will it be mentioned? Or did you forget about her :p

Athena did not take part in the bet. Fairly wise of her.

Unless I'm misreading that she did.

I believe that because Athena lives on the ship with Krum, we can assume that she discharged her bet much earlier than Harry and Fleur.
