I raid semi seriously. Clear 10man naxx, H/norm voa and OS and starting malygos 10 atm. But that only takes a few hours a week and besides that Im normally off doing other things.

I plan to start raiding again once I'm 80 with either my Druid or Death Knight. Got quite a few other toons on other realms up to lvl 50 (about 5 of them actually).

 

I'm more thinking serious end game guilds, etc etc. Like, did anyone clear Sunwell prenerf in TBC? That kinda level.

You can pug all content easily in WOTLK atm, and I in fact have.

 

I cleared Sunwell in TBC Pre-Nerf. I was in Juggernaut on Mal'ganis. I currently play Wrath casually because its too easy.

 

You guys should try guild wars, less focus on leveling up and more on pvp, story line and quests and item/skill builds. Also there is no monthly fees

 

You're saying WoW doesn't have story. If you actually pay attention to some of the questlines and dungeons then WoW has some of the most epic story in any game especially if you played Warcraft 3 and Frozen Throne. Lich King's quest/story mix is especially good.

That is perhaps the problem with WoW pre-BC you had to clear endgame content to really start getting into the story. As someone who cleared Naxx pre-BC and got 2 of 3 shards towards the Scepter of the Sands WoW has some of the best lore in any game I've played. I will concede that BC's lore was fail but the game was pretty damn good by that stage.

Lich King raiding is a joke but it's still fun for messing about and the achievements are fairly amusing. I haven't raided seriously since clearing BT pre-Sunwell's release but I'm hoping that the Lich King raiding situation will pick up with 3.1 and Ulduar.

Meatzman2, I didn't say WoW has no story nor do I care about how it brought you to tears.

What I did say is if you want a no monthly fee mmorpg, That has a good balance and little grinding(Max level is 20 reach is easy). Some people want to clear all the main quests, others like me want guild and pvp ranks.

Edit: Also I am a massive fan of Warcraft 3 and regularly play ladder games(tons more DotA though).

Anduriel - Laughing Skull (EU) PvP - 80 BElf Warlock

I raid endgame pretty seriously i guess, all content cleared (10man sarth 3D down 25 i still need to go with teh guild(they've killed it i havent been in the zone yet)) we're pretty much preparing for Ulduar atm and will be going in full force. EDIT: Also killed everything up to brutallus (including) pre-nerf. guild fell apart though at felmyst /fail.

About GW vs WoW , I personally started with GW when it came out a few years back and GvG'd top50 in the world, after Factions came out i still went strong and we made it to a #23 finish and then the guild fell apart and i moved to WoW. I miss GvG alot but raids have more appeal to me personally. Gief hardmodes in ulduar

 

Coming 23rd is very impressive, congrats. Did you clear Heroes accent? Do you remember how many gladiator points you had?

I'm currently working on a minion master necromancer, probably starting a Assassin/ranger soon after.
