Did anyone else find it awesome that Nagato tries to bash Kyuubi's head in with a rock?

I laughed.

 

'Chibaku' basically translates as 'earth bomb/blast' so the chances of it being some kind of explosion are pretty high.

Must be pretty powerful too since he had to get closer for it.

 

Hmm - he already destroyed Konoha. I'm wondering how exactly an Earth Technique would be better in a forest, instead of a wide open crater of earth.

Perhaps KN6 getting hit by a rock was just the beginning?

 

I saw it as Nagato redirecting the blast that would have atomized God Realm.

As for the blast Pein talked about being closer, I think he wanted God Realm to be in a position where he could receive the optimum amount of Chakra.

 

Maybe Pain will give himself an aneurysm/chakra exhaustion and die, but before that happens, he will give another heartfelt speech.

 

By now, I no longer really care about the outcome of this fight. Although I was surprised when the Shodaime's crystal tried to somehow restrain Naruto--and then he destroyed it, Tsunade's gonna be pissed (and it's also not a good omen for her continued health).

The outcome of this fight is something we can all predict, it's too early in the game for Naruto to be captured. Pain will most likely escape, since he's just awesome like that. Naruto's actual capture will involve a huge fight, with plenty of explosions......and Sasuke. We all know it. It will also involve entire chapters devoted to angst and bitching.

What I care about now is what happens after the fight. What the hell are they going to do about Konoha? The only things still standing are the wall, the Hokage monument, and those few buildings on top of the monument. Rebuilding is going to be a bitch of epic proportions. If this somehow doesn't start another ninja war, I'm gonna be pissed.

One interesting thing to consider about Pain, if God Realm is destroyed in this battle, and he is forced to acquire six new bodies, that could mean a completely different set of abilities for Pain further down the road. We know that Pain's apparent ability to control the rain and derive information from it comes from Yahiko's body. Who knows just how many of his other abilities are actually from his bodies instead of himself.

I wonder how likely it is that these are actually the end chapters. Dunno what the hell Kishi's going to do about Konoha if they aren't.

 

And Hinata is still alive.

 

Konoha will be rebuilt using several legions of Kage Bunshin, Iwa will try to start something while they're 'weak' and when they show up they find Konoha buzzing with thousands of Naruto's who looks more like the Yondaime than ever, what with his new threads and such.

Thus the Iwa nins will spam Shitbricks no Jutsu and go running home gibbering about the Yellow Flash coming back from the dead.

Yes, it could. If Naruto doesn`t get himself captured by Nagato.
And Iwa isn`t the only problem, there is Kumo who`s Raizakage is upset about his brother been taken by an Uchiha, an ex-Konoha nin.

But there is no more Konoha to invade. It`s all destroyed.

 

Hmm how long does Naruto have to use the six tailed form before he can kiss his consciousness and his skin goodbye. I don't reckon he'll have much longer left.

My prediction: Pein does badass jutsu, KN6 gets up and keeps going but he's starting to run the tank dry, perhaps he pushes out another tail. Confrontation in Naruto's mind betwixt Naruto and Kyuubi, some shit will happen and Kyuubi will back down (for whatever reason). Last body of Pein might or might not be killed, if it's not killed we'll have scene where Pein stands over Unkyuubified Naruto but is real beat up, if he is killed well then perhaps it would be Konan or Zetsu standing over Naruto (I personally lean towards God Realm still being alive). Gai arrives, forcing whoever to leave Naruto behind.

This means Naruto isn't captured, allowing for future epic capture battle, Nagato faces a serious setback in needing to get another 5/6 bodies. Naruto is fucked up, because he used six tails which means he's in Hospital for a bit. More funeral scenes coming up, one chapter for Kakashi's funeral, another for reminiscing about him and then a third for Naruto swearing angst, I mean revenge.

Either way KN6 is pimp, owning Shinra Tenshei was just a little on the epic side of cool, and taking out that chunk of the Hokage Monument, well that was badass as well.

We have yet to see what pulling out the sixth tail allows Naruto to do in terms of special moves and I admit I'm curious to see what it is.

I seriously doubt that Nagato will create another Pain Rikudou given that all of that jutsu's secrets have already been shown. And remember that Beast Realm has already been replaced once - the powers remain the same.

Regardless of the powers, the critical information that Nagato has to be nearby is out there so any incarnation of Pain would be ineffective.

If Nagato survives this then he'll be coming back with something completely different, and frankly I'm hoping to see the master of all elements here sometime in the future.

heh, seems like no one has really any faith in Hinata in the entire village. Sakura basically summed up everyone's thoughts.

 

Do we know for sure that the damn necklace was destroyed? I couldnt tell seeing as I couldnt read the sound effect. Maybe he just pulled it from his neck so it wouldnt work.

 

Naruto will wake up, and like in the past, he won't recalled anything that's occurred, perhaps he'll remember that Hinata stepped into help him, but he won't remember her confession either. I so called it.

So umm, where's Sasuke? I thought he was going to destroy Konoha?

I'm also saddened that we can't take the piss out of people who write fics where the Yondaime is in the seal.

I've only read a few fanfics with Minato in the seal but stopped reading them because the sheer ridiculous of the idea, to me seemed stupid. Looks like I'm wrong and cliche fudgepacking authors are Kishimoto are right.
