KN8 has already broken out of the jutsu.

What's important here is what happens with Minato and Naruto. If they can get Naruto to be able to use Kyuubi's power properly then Nagato is in for an epic shitstorm.

I suppose the deciding factor will be if Naruto is in any shape to continue fighting.

Did anyone else notice that Chibaku Tensei tanked KN6's chakra blast like it was nothing? Most overpowered jutsu we've seen so far by leaps and bounds. Nagato is trying to overpower the Kyuubi, and very nearly succeeded.

 

I'm not sure what kind of condition Naruto will be in for fighting. Orochimaru vs. 4KN ended with Naruto needing medical attention from Sakura - loosing all the skin from his body. That was with Tsunade's pendant as well protecting him from some ill effects. Kishimoto might have forgotten all that though and have Naruto come out of it A-OK.

 

That Nosebleed inducing justsu (the moon thing) was pretty interesting. First time in awhile I was interested in a ninja move.

So if Naruto goes 9 tails is the Kyubi released? Can he go 9 tails without removing the seal? That part seemed a bit confusing to me. That and the chocolate, or what appeared to be chocolate oozing out of Naruto's spiral seal.

Also shouldn't Hinate be somewhere in that shitfest? She was pretty close by, I would guess she's a rock sandwich by now.

I say in the next chapter either Minato's going to step outside and kick some Pain ass, allowing them to bypass a huge enemy without overpowering Naruto (Fat chance), or Naruto's going to be given some of Kyuubi's chakra directly, mixing with any remaining sage chakra and producing badassedry.

Or he's going to be given infinite control over Kyuubis powers with no drawbacks, as /a/ says.

Any way it goes, it can't be worse than Ichigo's new mullet powerup.

i'll say that at least 1/2 the next chapter would be a talking/flashback scene. No way Minato will give up the chance for dialogue with Naruto..

Given that the Sharingan has a certain level of control over the Kyuubi, the Rinnegan, said to be the strongest of all eye techniques, should at least give the 9 tails some smackdown or 2..

 

Sasuke's team will show up after Naruto beats Pain and Sasuke will win.

Um, is everyone blind? Naruto IS in the 9-tailed state, which he apparently needed to break out of Chibaku tensei. Look at page 14-15. Count the tails, there are 9 (assuming the uppermost is two tails rather than one). Look at the second to last panel on the bottom (from right to left). Yamato has a big fat nine on his palm.

That means he (just like the other jinchuriki) can bust out all the tails without releasing the bijuu. If he takes off the seal then I imagine the Kyuubi is released completely.

Anyone else think Naruto's stupid jacket makes him look like a fatty sometimes?

Naruto: "DADDY!"

STEP 1 - use KN9 chakra to unlock Flying Thunder God/Hirashin/best jutsu evar and go back to Konoha.
STEP 2 - Find dead person, preferrably Kakashi/Iruka/Konohamaru for angst's sake, use Edo Tensei to resurrect the fasha.
STEP 3 - Fall into a coma-like state after giving Daddy complete control and hearing "Naruto, I'm proud of you, and I love you." followed by best jutsu evar away to kill Nagato and Konan.
STEP 4 - Minato uses epic chakra sensing jutsu and kills all remaining members of Akatsuki. Kushina arrives moments after he vanishes, angsts over missing her Minato-kun and the fate of her beloved Naru-chan.
STEP 5 - In an ultimate display of irony, Minato dies killing the remaining members of Akatsuki + Sasuke and co.
STEP 6 - Kyuubi, sensing that his jailer is gone, and his prison is in epic fail state, uses Nuke No Jutsu to kill all remaining life on the planet.
STEP 7 - Madara is the last man alive due to epic pwnage of Sharingan, says "Meh." and goes back to being Tobi for shits and giggles.
STEP 8 - "TOBI IS A GOOD BOY!"
STEP 9 - Gainax Ending
