It was over. Finally, after all the years of fighting the endless battle, it was over. At least, for Harry Potter, it was. For the rest of the world, it may never end...One-shot alternate ending to the HP series Complete - Fiction Rated: T - English - General - Chapters: 1 - Words: 2,733 - Reviews: 2 - Updated: 3-16-09 - Published: 3-16-09

I'm honestly not sure about throwing this in For Review... honestly, it's really kind of creepy (and a bit chilling, when I think about it) and a pretty solid oneshot nonetheless, but I'm not sure I agree with Harry's characterization. I'd rate it 4/5 for originality and fairly decent writing, and the way For Review is looking, it could get good reviews, but...

^ That was so cool, you have to post it for review, most of the stories in there suck balls anyway. This one is a nice change from the usual.

I`ll rate it 4/5, not a 5 because its too short.

Excellent find. It's not going to get 5 stars from a lot of people because of its length; however, it is library worthy. I suggest you submit it for review.

On the other end of the spectrum, I dare someone to submit this story for review:

    THIS IS A TEST STORY

    Category: Harry Potter - Rating: G - Genres: Parody - Characters: - Published: 2009/03/16 - Updated: 2009/03/16 - 1 words - Complete

The only redeeming quality about it is that it's better than 95 percent of the dreck that's out there. Heck, it's better than a lot of the stories submitted for review here.

    All right, why not?

EDIT - It's in For Review... and given the quality of recent stuff, it might actually stand a decent chance...

Written in 2002, huh? That makes sense.

    I recommend a find/replace for Virginia/Ginevra.

Jevram, that was so wrong, really that was fucking rank. I did laugh though, which says something about my state of mind.

AFF.net is worth reading just for the summaries. I go there and I choose the het category and when I'm really bored the general (cunningly disguised slash) section and just laugh. I think it was on AFF.net that I first heard about Oedipus Flower actually...

This has been updated with chapter 3. I must say that I was confused with the style of telling two timelines at once (pre-Azkaban and after the break-out), even though I'm doing it myself in one story; but this chapter I liked it -- mostly due to the intriguing course Harry's training has taken; this particular magical reaction is not something I've seen before.

Points for originality, that at the very least compensate for the Time-Turner training. So far, 3.5/5 perhaps.

Not outstanding, but something I enjoy.

It seems that Draco would be Harry's arch-nemesis. I'm disappointed.

Quick, lite read. The story made me lol in a few parts, the summary was what made me pause to read it.

Harry, Hermione, and Ron become Animagi during second year. Of course it goes wrong and they become Pokemon Animagi.

It's a light, fluffy read, and it's an AU that's already done with second year. Updates once a week, with decent sized updates.

Don't read if you want your usual betrayed-by-everyone Harry. Dumbledore is slightly manipulative, but still kind. And all the kids are portrayed as what they are - kids!

    I remember that one
It is a nice, enjoyable fic, nothing epic, but makes for a good read if you have nothing better to do
But well, it's a slight Pokemon crossover...

It's a pretty decent time-killer, but I somehow have the feeling that we're not going to get many interesting deviations from canon any time soon.

That story was actually a superb read. I really, really enjoyed it. The humor's a little juvenile in places but it was still a wonderful way to pass half an hour.

I'd rate that 5/5 if it was in for review, because I enjoyed it very much and the concept is one that I have yet to encounter.

The Inner Eye of Harry Potter by jbern

Its certainly amusing, but its has only one chapter now covering whole first year. Sibyll raised Harry is awesome with his amazing Seer powers. jbern commented that chapters 2-7 will be released after he finished The Lie I've Lived. Tentative 3.5/5 for now and I'm waiting for the rest of story to properly rate it in the Review section.
