I would think the limit on how far into space he could reach would be determined by how far he could extend his magic and still be able to control it. He doesnt personally have to have all that much power just be able to control what he has well enough. He could use something like a ley line as the source of the power to bring a meteor down.

 

Or he could have used a ritual, though that seems unlikely given the distinct lack of meteorite strikes in human history and the Dresdenverse being intimately tied in with that.

Drakul makes me go huh, as he's described as a badass, but not Queen caliber. Same with Ferro, Michael took out his other dragon buddy, Ferro gave Harry problems though, and Ferro only had half of Harry's Name.

I don't get this, as they're basically just really good fighters due to their speed and bestial side, with narcotic spit. Other then that, they fight with guns for the most part, with the rare one having the ability to use magic.

Should be noted that that is a theory, not 100% proven it was a "small meteorite", but yes, it was incredible. Blah blah yes I'm a conspiracy nut.

More impressive is he claiming he did Krakatoa. It was 200 Megatons, 13,000 times more then Hiroshima. New Madrid is the Megaquake of over 8.6 in 1812, which was followed by over 2000 aftershocks and smaller quakes that were felt over 1 million sq miles and 8 states. the 1906 San Fran quake was only 6K sq miles by comparison.

Ebby's a badass. Which bothers me that Jim makes the rest Senior council a bunch of defensive minded pussies hiding behind wards and being guarded by some folks who couldn't do a tenth of what Ebby can do.

 

We havent seen enough of Drakul to really know just how big and bad he is. He's too much of an unknown at the moment.

On Ferro, sure Michael killed his buddy, but isnt Ferro the oldest and most powerful of all the dragons? Or at least claims to be? Once again we dont really know enough about him to really understand just how powerful he is.

Keep in mind that fairies don't use their actual names. For example, Toot-toot's real name is not Toot-toot. It's described as follows:

Drakul was apparently badass enough for Eb to not only call him a creature, but to call him The Creature. Ferro is apparently the strongest of the dragons, as well as the oldest, and his only onscreen feat was leveling Harry in a moment, with no effort, before he could react. That's very impressive, so we can judge him yet.

While that is true, it's important to keep in mind how many of them there are, with a large number being old as hell, and strong as hell.

As Jim said, the White Court has very, very long odds. But they are a Vampire Court, and their is a reason for that. So, despite the horrible odds, it can't be denied that they do, in fact, have odds. Just as, technically, you have odds of winning the lottery after buying a ticket.

True enough, (on the Senior Council), but then, Eb is the only one we know in more then passing. For all we know, everyone on the Senior Council is stronger then Eb.

 

I don't actually recall which book or page it happed on, but Mab refers to the Unseelie Accords as "my accords". So yes, they're hers. Whether that means she wrote them or enforces them, I don't know.

 

Small Favor.

 

An interesting thought just occured to me; Uriel's name wasn't on the list of people who could beat Mab. Between that and the absence of the Denarians it seems like Dresdenverse Angels and Demons aren't some of the heaviest hitters around.

 

I don't think it's that Ebenezer is stronger, but his power really comes from the power the Senior Council allows him to have. I mean he is free to study and practice all forms of magic without any interference from the White Council. He has no wardens to worry about or anything. I'm sure this extra leeway is part of the reason why he can pull off such incredible feats.

 

Uriel is an archangel. In Summer Knight Butcher says that Mab and Titania are pretty much equal with the Archangels. In a straight up fight I would say it be a draw but even Mab cannot be insane enough to mess with an Archangel considering who they are servants of.

 

It also helps that he won't be executed for killing a human with magic. It doesn't matter how much collateral is caused by his magic doing shit like summoning down comets. The rest of the council would be executed for the collateral damage of such an attack.

 

That's always been how I see the situation as well; other members of the Senior Council are capable of doing things on the same scale as Ebenezer, but choose not to use their powers in such blatantly destructive ways. We haven't seen much of what the Merlin is capable of, but he did create a set of wards in Dead Beat that were immune to anything short of divine intervention.
