    Updated, on PC and FF.net.

The Harry/Padma aspect continues to be great -- I don't think there is any recent fic that captures a slowly developing first-time relationship as well as this story does. It's real, completely honest, and never cheesy.

I also enjoyed the glimpse in this story's version of Aurors and their work; it adds to the world in the story -- and since we don't really know anything from Canon there, they were new ideas, which is something I always like.

If you invest enough time in your story to come up with small bits like this, you're doing it right.

Yeah, the slow update rate is a bit annoying, but were you to come to this new now there's a nice chunk of story there.

And it's still one of the best fics around: it just feels like Harry Potter. It really captures the tone and structure of the "Harry Potter formula" which made the first 3 books so great.

    Still 5/5 for me.

THe update was an excellent addition. The update rate is atrocious, but it just gives me a chance to skim through the story Dobby scene was one of the few I've come across that wasn't overdone, and that was definitely a welcome change.

I swear that at one time he was updating about once a week, hopefully it picks up a bit now.

5/5 for me, the characterization is excellent and the mystery is original, even though I think I have an idea of whats going on.

T'is a female who can write, like Shezza or...?

5/5 Excellent mystery, brilliantly executed Harry/Padma lovin' and a decent update rate before real life got in the way.

Time has been very good to this story. Sometimes stories I loved a while back come out average or just plain bad when they update, but that's definitely not the case here.
