Angel Densetsu

This is a pretty good manga. I'd give it the classification of action/comedy. Takes place in a high school.

 

Yeah this is my favorite comedy manga. Sometime I laugh so hard my eyes water. It's the earlier work of Claymore's author. You can see how his drawings progress through out the book.

 

From the description I thought it'd be something like Toradora, but it seems way different so far. More comedy than drama, but then again, I'm only a few chapters in.
He looks like a cross between Voldemort and Giovanni from pokemon.

Did anyone else have to remind themself that he's not really strong half way though? I was thinking "He's totes gonna kick their asses bro," then remembered he's not what they make him out to be. Might be because it's 3am, or maybe it's just really well written.

 

I read this Manga a couple of months ago and it rapidly became my favorite comedy Manga. I have read it a couple of times since then and it never gets less funny. I would reccommend it to anyone who wanted a good laugh.

 

Damn well I just read all nine volumes of Battle Angel Alita during the night. The happy ending had me cheering I was so happy! If this comes even remotely close to comparing then today will be a very good day.

[Edit] Simply cannot stand the artwork, it hurts my eyes.

 

Now you must read Battle Angel Alita: Last Order! The ending of the original BAA was retconned and LO picks up after Desty Nova's doll bomb and continues into space, which is even more fucked up than the Scrapyard. The Venusians especially.

Aqua Knight by the same authour is also very good, but discontinued.

And I never could stand how this artist drew faces for this and early Claymore. Ugly. Thankfully he got better at it.
