Thank god someone else noticed this.

The episode wasn't great, but it was a necessary setup for the season ender.

As far as Ruby goes, I prefer this ambiguous version to the annoying bitch she was in season three. I think people keep forgetting that the first one couldn't act either.

I knew it from when they first mentioned Lucifer's rising that Ruby was working for him. That crap story about how she was once human and she is sympathetic to them was somuchcrapcrapcrap.

Also, was that a spoiler, Jon? Naughty.

 

The prologue was awesome. Wrenching. I love that song, and the montage was perfect.

Alright so I cant say I didnt see Ruby being all muahaha but I didnt want her to die, but oh well. Still I gotta come back to fucking Kripke. He's coming, fade to white and done. Sigh ah well awesome episode.

 

And Dean hasn't been called on his Oath, yet. Still lots happening.

 

This episode was awesome. I loved the reappearance of Chuck and Castiel. And I knew Zach was a evil bastard (in a good way) when I first saw him. But now to the biggest event:

RUBY'S DEAD! YAY! (Sorry Krogan. I really could not stand her this season.)

 

Sigh no need to apologize its a fairly common feeling apparently, but I thought this was her best performance all season and I was pissed it got cut short by a knife to the gut. I think she would have made an awesome season 5 villain. However I realized that out of anyone Lucifer might lend a helping hand to as in resurrect its going to be his most loyal who initiated his freedom and return i.e. Ruby. So Im still hopeful.

 

Mm. Not even a teaser for the next episode.

Thank god that bitchwhore is dead. One of the worst actresses I've ever seen. Castiel is still a fucking pimp. Zachariah can suck dicks. Sam is a little bitch. That god that bitchwhore is dead.

 

So am I the only one who thought Sam was actually fairly bad ass tonight, you know excluding the last ten minutes? The part in the hospital where he caught the demon nurse and slammed her into the wall was awesome, "Soooo we need to talk."

 

I watched the Smallville finale before coming into Supernatural. So after watching somehting mind numbingly awful this was probably ten times more awesome in my mind than it truly was. I liked too many things in this episode.

I thought for sure that Sam was going to be Lucifer's meat suit, and I wasn't looking forward to that. I know JP couldn't pull it off, so I was cringing the whole time the last seal was breaking. I was nicely surprised when he didn't get possessed, and go all (insert demonic eye color of choice).

The conclusion rocked. Castiel taking on the archangels and the fingerpainting on the wall was awesome. I think its interesting that angelic wards have to be blood drawn. And Lucifer's rising! I'm eagerly awaiting season 5, so we can see if its going to get as apocalyptic as it seems.

Oh and Ruby getting knifed was icing on the cake.
