Saw this for the first time today, said why not and made one, currently getting my ass kicked.

 

Your Master of Arms skill is pretty useless without any weapons. Better hope you get one next levelup.

 

I've come across that weapon before, Kang. I was just not expecting him to pull one out right from the start and OHKO my brute.

 

Fair enough. Its just sp ridiculously overpowered, I've seen LV3 people with relatively high speed and agility raping someone over 15 times their skills.

Wow. In all six of your introductory fights you got owned.

Word of advice: Don't be afraid to start over again and/or have two Brutes going at the same time. You may get lucky and get a half decent one next time.

lol, I have eight Brutes going and i've deleted 3.

After level 8, if they lose 3 fights in a row, they get deleted.

I had one guy I had to delete who was level 8 with just a staff. That he would immediately take out and throw away after one or two hits.

 

Weapons are over-rated. Stats are much more important, imo.

 

Maybe if your matched with someone a little better than you in weapons. But when your facing off against a guy with a Flail, Club, knife, broadsword. and all you have is a baton with 80 life. No stats will save you at equal level.

 

Club? Seriously? It takes at least 6 turns until it hits me, and even then it doesn't kill. I have a 15 agility, 9 speed and a wolf - and I beat just about every swordsmen there is.

 

Wolfes are just badass. My dude with a wolf just got a dog as well, and they attack six or more times in a row, dealing 60 or more damage.

Well, then that's because you have a Panther, not because of your stats. Panther/Bears beat any sort of weapon combo. Unless you have a net or a pet yourself, you're screwed. Without that Panther, I doubt you'd be saying the same things.

 

Only real fight I've lost recently was because my opponent had a Bear and a Net.

 

Christ, I made a new character and started with the mace thing. I almost beat my level 9 character with it.

 

There is also a skill called cry of the damned or something that dismisses all of the opponents' pets and another that turns one of the pets to your side.

There also skills that increase the chance of knocking a weapon out ones hand, chance to break, and one that allows you to steal weapons.

Forget pets or weapons, the people with the best mix of skills are the ones that do the best.

You also have to hope your Brute doesn't become retarded and start swinging with fists with 6 weapons to use and then wait until the last moment to use a special skill like Cry of The Damned.
