Watched the whole timeline, awesome stuff. And no I hope they don't do micro transactions. I'd rather see an out of context ad in the fucking game, like seeing Simpsons season 129292 dvd ads right next to the laser weapon shop, then have my kills stolen by some 10 year old with daddy's credit card.

 

This a thousand times over. If they do micro transactions, Im not going to touch the game.

 

I'd rather have my monthly fees equivalent paid by a 10 year old with Daddy's credit card then spend the money myself. Micro transactions are fine as long as there is no exclusive content. If they don't want to grind an instance for four hours trying to get the uber infinity plus one sword that's fine.

 

A new update (Video Documentary) with some interesting footage from the demo at E3.
They talk about the VO (voice-over) thing they are doing with the game and show some dialogue and combat.

The whole storyline effect sequence reminded me of the choices you make in Mass Effect. I remember Bioware saying they wanted to make a game with that depth but to see actual footage of it? Awesome.

The glimpse at Combat looked sweet too, taking on multiple enemies instead of luring them out one at a time.

Can't wait for some demo footage.

 

More Smuggler awesomeness.

 

Fucking win, I have never wanted to try a smuggler more, this game just shot straight to the top of the list of games I want to play.

 

I am a huge KotoR fan, but I'm not sure I want this game. EA games has made some very stupid decisions in the past...

Anyone remember the SecuRom controversy? If they include that with the game, then no fucking way will I buy it.

I love everything from the new vid, except for the way they modeled the females. They just look so, so stupid. I will have to play as a dude. I'm pretty impressed by what they did with the smuggler and bounty hunter classes; I had doubts that they'd be able to individualize them enough to make sense. And the multiplayer dialogue seems like it'll actually work, which is cool. That dialogue style was one of the things I liked best about Mass Effect, so I'm glad they're using it here.

I started and eventually mastered a lot of MMORPG's, (Tibia, Knight Online, Perfect World, Mu Online) I play them for about 5 years now, as this looks promising I plan to start this game now.

I'm not surprised the site's down. Same thing happened to infinity ward's cod4 site when they were doing their beta.
