To be honest, the amount of readable Harry/Fleur stories are very limited. Got a few others bookmarked aswell but I didn't think they were good enough to put up on the c2.

 

hello i am new to this site but im amazed at the number of harry/fleur lovers out there. One fic that i personally enjoyed very much had harry in a relationship with both fleur and gabrielle. Harry had changed his name and had some kind of wizard technology company and got along really well with fleurs father. i was wondering if anyone knew this story and could help me find it. Been searching for a while now but i cant find it. Its one of my favorite stories and i think other harry/fleur lovers could appreciate it.

 

harry potter and the rise of the technomancers?
does that sound right? that's the only harry/fleur story i can come up with off the top of my head that involves a tech company
i'm not sure if i'm accurate (and assuming that it is the right story) it was a wild guess because i was dissuaded from all the reviews left by others

On a serious, positive note, some things never change.

To stay on "topic", I personally have always thought that Brigitte Bardot, who is French, blonde and was a wildly acclaimed sex-symbol was the one most suited to play Fleur Delacour. However, unlike popular opinion, I believe she should do it in her present age, for a bit of a twist.

 

Circular Reasoning: Under circumstances beyond his control, Harry ends up in his thirteen year old body with memories of a violent future and a hefty debt on his soul. Juggling power, political intrigue and questionable sanity, he must keep two steps ahead those out for his blood.

However, it's fourteen chapters in and still no Harry/Fleur action.

The French Affair: Five Years Later: All is not well. After the Final Battle with the Dark Lord, Harry’s life has settled down and left him unsatisfied. But suddenly, there’s a murder, and then, a chance meeting with the beautiful Fleur Delacour changes things completely. In midst of political tensions, schemes start to involve Harry, with more than one obscure agenda. Intrigues, secret projects and lies – and who could resist a fatally alluring woman again?

Thus far there is a prologue and two chapters. The prologue was definitely Harry/Fleur and it certainly sets the tone for a dynamic pairing.

The Skitterleap: VERY AU. For fifty years Grindlewald has ruled his empire with an iron fist, his armies crushing all those who would oppose him. As his eyes and warmongering fall upon the East, one Officer finds himself caught up in a plot that could destroy the Empire.

Carpe Slytherin: In an alternate universe where Harry was sorted into Slytherin, the fourth Champion of the TriWizard Tournament competes in the second task in classic, understated, Slytherin style. Winner of the Pottersplace3 september challenge.

Vanishing Illusions: Harry Potter, previously thought to be dead, arrives to compete in the triwizard tournament. How will being raised by a former Death Eater and attending Durmstrang, alter the boy's intended course.

Apparently it's Harry/Fleur. It's hasn't been updated though since '07. The nine chapters that were posted were good, but didn't really have a lot of Harry/Fleur interaction.

Veela Various: A few months after the final battle Fleur’s Veela magic choose Harry as her mate. It doesn’t quite stop there though, as Hermione is about to find out. H/Hr/F, Full three way relationship.

Truthfully, this one makes me shudder. It contains a lot of fluff and it's quite mushy. Plus, it's got soul-bonding... And at the beginning of the story, Harry and Fleur are already together. So yeah... I'm not sure why I'm posting the link, but I am. Consider yourself warned.

And all those fics you're adding to the c2 - you might want to carefully check and ensure those fics are in the DLP library first before you add them. Just for the sake of readers looking for a good H/F and who find...

And just for a quick update for those who care, Millennium Game is started and I'm working my way towards the Harry/Fleur interaction. For those who don't know, it's a sequel to Silence Game, so there will be some Harry/Su Li as well (and I'm still debating about the threesome). Oneshot will probably be upwards of 8000 words and in NC-17.

 

Aye, I just tuned it to DLP library. A couple of them; More than a pretty face, Carpe Slytherin and Succumb to Desire I couldn't find in neither the Library, the rejected stories or the recycling bin.

I'm drooling in anticipation, are you going to continue with the same writing style or will it be a change of tune?

 

Similar writing style (first-person present tense, from Harry's POV), but about a year and a half has passed since the events in Silence Game. The world has gotten more unstable (both wizarding and Muggle... after all, who remembers what was going on in that timeframe). Harry's become more apathetic, but he's going to have to take action this time, particularly considering Fleur's involvement...

 

Well since I signed up for DLP, I've become a huge H/F fan (Though I do still like H/G, too. I know, blasphemy!) Something I think should be added to the c2: The Scorpion's Sting. Not amazing, but it's definitely up there as one of the better-written H/F stories. It has a little bonding, but it's nothing too crazy (IIRC).

This thread is awesome, even if it has gotten derailed a bit too often.

 

The Scorpion's Sting is the sequel to The Secret Diary of Fleur Delacour aged 16 3/4.

The sequel is not in the c2 at the moment because of the negative response in this thread.

 

Back and back for a while. Staying round and planning an update as well for everything. I have gotten a strange urge for writing, with ideas and scenes popping up in my head every now and then. Seeing as I also have a one week holiday coming up I should significantly advance in writing something.

 

That is pretty much what the C2 group is for! But well, it would be good if you could get the bad stories together too, it´s still H/F

OT: Fleur is awesome.

Next chapter of CR is on the way, but I don't anticipate working Fleur into the story for quite some time. Around fourth year is when I see putting her in.

Then I guess it'll be double that time until Tonks gets involved as well!? Still, I'll be waiting patiently and wishing you A lot of free time that you could use to write... o_0

I'm cool with not having Fleur in the story for a while. It just makes it better when she finally does enter the picture. Besides, not immediately throwing Fleur in means you've actually thought out this story and it's going to progress logically. So the wait is definitely worth it.

Woohoo! If I can't have Fleur, I'll happily take Tonks!

I thought I would have Fleur in a lot earlier, but it didn't feasibly work out, not if I wanted to stick with my plot.

 

Ahh. I remember this thread. Looks like I have quite a bit of catching up to do. I was originally working on a story for the challenge back in 2007 I believe. All I ever managed to write was several pages of notes and a few chapters before I shelved it.

Fortunately, I have been forced to install an old hard drive that hasnt been used since 2005. In the documents, I happened across an outline and about 20 pages for a story I had started writing before that particular laptop decided to eat its motherboard (I also found some of the old DLP archives from back in 2005. Good times). Since this was back in 2005, some of it isnt quite as original as it once was but it has grabbed my attention. I have been adding to the outline and have a rough idea of where it is going.

As you have probably gathered, it is going to be Harry/Fleur.

Hopefully I can manage it this time around
