I needed Firefox 3.5 in order to get it to work, but other than that it's pretty fukken epic, brah.

Now that you got rid of the pop up. :|

Jangel, DLP supports your efforts and offers you FTP space and a subdomain for your project.

Also, did you use a SQLite Database?

    Update!

    http://ffnex.darklordpotter.net/

    New in 0.9
    • removed useless ignore buttons on community pages
    • added support for ignoring on author favorite fic lists
    • fixed bug with fic sorting on author pages
    • transfered in-Firefox updating to new site
Thanks to Raven for the subdomain. Next, I'm thinking about adding communal rating, shared between all users of the extension, and the ability to attach a link to fics (for example, add the link to the DLP thread about a certain fic).

This is friggin' WIN. :D Like others have said, all you need now is a universal ignore list available for download as well and then it will be perfect.

EDIT: Some additional information. You do need the latest Firefox for it to work, or at least a later version then V3.0.12. I was running V3.0.12 and it was not compatible. Here is a quick link to the latest version(v3.5), for download.

This is fricking brilliant in theory. I just haven't managed to get it to work.

It installed, restarted Firefox (version 3.5.1). Nothing. Refreshed pages, opened new tabs, new windows, etc... I even disabled the thing, restarted Firefox and then enabled it and restarted Firefox. Still no love for me. Tried disabling all my add-ons and then enabling just ffnex. Nope. But it was weird seeing all those ads and crap on fanfiction.net again.

I tried just installing 3.5.1 right on top of my existing 3.5.1. Didn't work.

Am I going to have to uninstall and then reinstall Firefox? Or has anyone figured out a way around this and/or knows why it's not liking me?

I suppose I should mention this machine's running Vista.

YES!! I just spent the last 10 minutes ignoring as many slash fics as I could! This shit is awesome!

Now if only if it was automatically programmed to just ignore anything that said slash...

    To anyone having problems:
    1. Make sure you have the latest version. (0.9) A redownload from here is the safest bet.
    2. After you reinstall the extension, restart Firefox and check if it works.
    3. If it still doesn't work, enable error logging by typing about:config into your address bar, filtering it for extensions.logging.enabled, and toggling it to true.
    4. After doing this, restart Firefox, go to Tools -> Error Console (also Ctrl-Shift-J), and click the Errors tab, then go to FFN.
    5. Either screenshot the Error Console, or copy anything with ffn_extend.js in its link, and PM me with it / post it in the thread, and I'll look at it from there.

Jangel, I did everything you said, but it still doesn't work - and I'm not getting any errors. The "options" button is simply grayed out. Any ideas on what it could be? I've restarted multiple times, and everything's up to date, so I'm at a loss.

Refresh FFN while the Error Console is open, see if that brings anything new up.
