I had thought the Mizukage Zabuza rebelled against was Madara, wasn't there a chapter where Kisame acknowledged Madara as his former Mizukage?

The chakra Samurai are cool though, badass armor. at least the fight between Sasuke and the Raikage should be somewhat interesting.

Also, Sasuke is way too skilled. If he beats the Raikage (currently coolest kage ever), I'm calling shenanigans.

 

The samurai from that country can, but from Karin surprise I'd say samurai in countries like Fire Country don't know how.

 

What country are they in again? Steel country? They claim to be a minor country, but if their samurai can wield chakra, it makes you question that. I mean, doesn't that mean they could just as easily have ninja? Or warriors on par with them?

 

Frankly, they wouldn't be an effective fighting force if they couldn't use chakra. Ninja would annihilate them.

I'm surprised that people didn't see this coming. I doubt that a samurai is much different from a sword-toting ninja, aside from the lack of raw ninjutsu.

I'd think it was more along the line of rumor, than an actual acknowledgment from Konoha that Sasuke defeated Haku. We know the Uchiha are held in high regard, and unless Konoha is retarded (they are) they aren't about to tell the world what their genin are up. Maybe it got back to Mist through word of mouth (started in Konoha, where no one would believe Uzumaki Naruto defeated Haku, instead, Sasuke must have done it!) and it's simply a case of misinformation.

 

Frankly I'd love to see what all the Kage think of Naruto were he to suddenly appear on the scene. Tsuchikage would probably shit his pants then curse Sarutobi in his grave, the Kiri crowd would probably have a similar reaction to him that they had to Sasuke, given the fact that an entire bridge is named after him, and Danzou would be "Oh, shit"ing.

Gaara would probably just smile.

 

I dunno, he won't be racking up much ninja street-cred if he turns up only to start crying to Sasuke to 'come back' or.....'change before its too late' (Naruto has a very loose definition of 'too late'). He also won't gain any points if the Raikage decides to tell everyone about their last meeting in one of those mid-battle taunt-fest.

In any case, Kishimoto's being very vague on just how much the other nations know about Naruto and despite just how much he's done I wouldn't be surprised if he turns up and garners little more than a 'who are you?' as a reaction, except from those who already know him like Gaara, Danzo and the Raikage. Of course we'd then get someone explaining that he's the ninetails jinichuuriki and all the awesome stuff he's done -this is just the kinda thing this manga would do.

 

I'm just waiting for Naruto to interrupt the Raikage/Sasuke battle and show himself to not be the complete pussy the Raikage currently sees him as. I have no doubt that he will be the next person on the end of the Hell Face Turn no Jutsu.

On a side note, I've been browsing tvtropes.org way too frequently for my own good. I was watching Iron Man last night and kept wondering how many tropes Pepper Potts falls into.

EDIT: I'm hoping (really fucking hoping! There are no words in the English language to describe how much I am REALLY FUCKING HOPING on this) that Sasuke is getting his ass kicked and is about to be killed when Naruto shows up to save him. Literally on the floor, begging for his life when Naruto appears to stop the sword/fist at the last second with sage powered awesomeness. That is where I can see the manga heading at this point.

Madara talks to Naruto about how Sasuke has turned completely to the dark side and there is no way he will turn back. He will tell Naruto about Sasuke's planned attempt to kill Danzou and Naruto will then run off like a good little puppy to sav-stop him. Of course Sasuke won't be happy that he's been saved by the 'dead last' and will run off with the goal of becoming powerful enough to kill Naruto. And that's where we get our final conflict from.

I find myself thinking it will be epic... but reality has its hold on me so I know it'll take another four years to get there and will inevitably be complete and utter shite.

 

I wish the same Aekiel. But lets face it, Sasuke is Kishimoto's walking Deus ex solution to everything. Me thinks it will be a tie between Raikage/Sasuke until Naruto shows up and blow everything to hell with a rasenshuriken. Then we will get the usual angst-fest for the a few hundred pages before Sasuke turns and leave.

I'm seriously disapointed with Naruto these days. His fight with Nagato was fucking awesome, but after everyone got ressurected the manga started to suck ass again.

 

There's still the fact that Shikamaru and Sakura are in-bound to talk some sense into Naruto, personally im hoping that he'll be released from his promise and watch as Sasuke is annihilated by Raikage.

On the topic of Raikage, did he fucking kill Zetsu? looked like he snapped his neck?

 

Naa, don't think so. It was just half of Zetsu, so I really don't think he's dead. He's a S-class ninja after all. Even the Raikage would have to put more of an effort to kill him off.

 

New chapter's out on onemanga.com and it's pretty average.

Most interesting things to have happened are Danzou insinuating that there was a defector among the Hyuuga and Juugo going full crazy mode. Looks very Bleach-esque to be honest.

Overall I give the chapter a very large 'meh'.
