what the fuck? nope. Maybe you can have your freakish necrophilia complex, just leave me out of it.

As for Supernatural? I'm highly looking forward to season 5. However, I cannot watch the promo with the fucking girls squealing every time the two guys are on screen. Especially the discussion about 'shoulders' and so on. Ugh.

Damn you beat me I was going to post that, but the new trailer looks awesome from Castiel and Dean lighting the handicapped on fire to the cripple and the bimbo torturing Sam to Antichrist Sammy in the pimp suit.

    Few big spoilers
Oh and Rachel Miner is going to be playing Meg, the colt is coming back, the archangels are all going to be assholes and theres a very solid chance John is coming back

Question: Any chance that we’ll see Jeffrey Dean Morgan again on Supernatural? —Barbara
Ausiello: Yes, there’s a chance. “I would love to have him back,” says Kripke. “But he is an in-demand actor. It’s all about scheduling. It’s [in the hands] of men who wear ties.” Hey, I sometimes wear ties. Consider this a done deal, Barb!

Song is a remixed version of 'O Death' by R.I.S.E. (Rising Appalachia).

I didn't pay as much attention to the latest Supernatural episodes as others may have so I'm not sure about this, but at about 38 seconds into the just posted newer promo, is Sam cutting himself with the demon killing knife?

Sam's reaction certainly does not bode well, and if it is the demon killing knife, is it possible that it's beginning to affect Sam as well?

Actually E just said that the version in the trailer is in fact a version of "Oh Death" redone by an artist by the name of Jen Titus which the CW hired to create specifically for this, they will have it available for free download on the CW website soon.

Also that could be Fimbulvintr but I think its more about the blood on the knife and Sam having to resist the urge to drink it.

Sweetness. We're just barely two weeks away from the season premiere. It's September 10th in case you didn't know.

Instead of Smallville as a lead-in, now we get The Vampire Diaries. Which, quite possibly looks like the worst scripted show I've ever heard of.

On a slightly off-topic note, in case anyone's wondering when the new season premieres are or when the new series are starting, IMDB's got a decent list here. Returning shows are in the left box, new series on the right.

Jim came off as slightly dim witted in that show to me. No idea why. Last comment was funny however.

    Misha's interview was excellent.

I'm pretty damn psyched for this season 5.

I was just watching the pilot episode (the one with the Woman in White,) and there's a scene in which the ghost woman gets in the car with Sam and tries to seduce him. He isn't afraid of her because she can only target unfaithful lovers, and Sam had never been unfaithful to Jessie. He tells the ghost that, and she says, "You will be."

I bet Kripke has very carefully arranged to have that conversation come back and hurt Sam now. If I'm right, that's five years of foreshadowing. Cool.

Now this is just hilarious. Supernatural fans accidently caused a religious war on Twitter.

Fans made #luciferiscoming a trending topic, which sparked a prompt response from P Diddy who made #GodIsHere.

He and his many followers don't seem to realize that its just for a televison show and not a bunch of devil worshippers, but it is hilarious to watch this all play out. :awesome

EDIT: Twitter just knocked both out of the trending topics, most likely thinking we're all insane fanatics.

EDIT 2: The media has picked up on it.

#luciferiscoming ... The Twitterverse Has Been Warned..
    September 10, 2009 by CLOVE

Nah, It's Just Those Crazy Supernatural Fans Again

    Lucifer is coming!

Users of the social networking site, Twitter, woke up Thursday ( 9/10/2009) morning to find this as one of the top trending topics on the site. Instantly, heart rates raced, tempers flared, and chaos ensued.

Those who actually knew why the tag was so popular were easy to spot. They also used the #Supernatural tag in their tweets, indicating the name of the show which caused this mass hysteria.

Supernatural is a paranormal comedy/drama featured on the CW network. The show features a story arch showcasing two brothers out to save the world from evil. Evil, as in demons, restless spirits, shapeshifters, witches, and even vampires (but not like any you've ever seen before). The Winchester boys, Sam and Dean, have seen their fair share of battle wounds during this mission. Dean even got dragged into hell where he was ripped apart over and over for months (In hell time, that would be years, though. Extra-ouch) before being saved by an angel.

The season four finale ended with Sam Winchester accidentally releasing Lucifer. We see the earth cracking open and ... Bam. End of show. So we've all been holding our collective breath for today.

    September 10, 2009.

    Lucifer is coming.

Hence the tag so popular on Twitter. However, it appears there are people upset with this because they believe Satanists have now taken over the site and are spewing their venom over the internet. They are rebelling by grabbing their bibles and quoting verses, or just plain ripping into those using the #luciferiscoming tag, all but banishing the tweeters to hell. A very simple search of the tag which is on clear display under trending topics would show what all the fuss is about, but people do not seem inclined to do this. Either they are too busy spouting out scripture, or they have checked it out and think the viewers of Supernatural are pure evil for watching the show.

It is very interesting how the twitterverse is reacting to the tag. I admit, as a fan of the show which does have an almost cult-like following, I was aware of the plan to label posts with the #luciferiscoming tag today. And part of the reason this tag was thought up was for the purpose
of amusement and sheer curiosity. What would the world think if people started tagging everything #luciferiscoming? We chuckled at the thought of people thinking Satanists had taken over the site and were rallying together to try to overrun the world, but I don't think anyone expected it to be this much of a fuss.

It's very strange, the violent reaction some are giving. If they would stop repelling Supernatural fans with holy water for a moment and watch the show, they might realize that the show itself is about Good vs. Evil and that Dean Winchester was taken out of hell by an angel to stop the apocalypse. Sure, he accidentally started it, but he's only human. We make our mistakes. He'll fix it by the end of the season.

So, for those obsessed over the #luciferiscoming phenomenon, don't worry. Lucifer is coming to the CW network at 9:00 P.M. eastern time tonight, September 10, 2009... but it only lasts an hour. Relax and breathe.

As of 11:00 a.m. #luciferiscoming was the second most popular trending topic on Twitter, and #supernatural was in the fourth spot.

The season premiere is looking pretty good so far. It seems to me that God is back and helping Dean, Sam, and Castiel, but I could be wrong.

I concur plus the whole Lucifer choosing his vessel was creepy and cool that the same time.

"Oh thank God, the angels are here."
    *fantastic* line, perfectly delivered.

I wonder what made Lucifer's vessel special? Think he's another Nephalim?

    Bobby is awesome.

Dean will forgive Sam - already has, really. We already knew that Dean would forgive Sam. But trust is a far more fragile thing, and once broken will never heal perfectly.

Sam mentioned the Colt. Where is it? Can we (somehow) gather up all the remaining bullets and reuse them?

Who were the bodies in John's locker?

Bodies were demons going to get the Sword, most likely.

Colt was sold by Bella to some rich person.

Dean + Sam thing is :(. But, they will get over it. The dynamic thing between the two is absolutely excellent.

Dean has turned into one amazing actor, I have to say.

I found the whole slash fan actually there to be quite funny, but perhaps a bit over the top when she actually met Sam

Bobby's "When we pull through on this, I want you to forget my phone number" was holy shit. I am so happy that was the demon talking ,as that would of destroyed his whole character.

Lucifer choosing his vessel was done in an absolutely amazing manner. The manipulation perhaps being a tad obvious.

I'm not willing to lay anything on the table, in regards to Castiel though. THey just probably want us thinking that God is back.
